Very expensive for what it was
Pros:

Room was OK

Cons:

The place was cluttered with stuff everywhere. The lobby was a mess. The fire alarm went off 2 night in a row for no reason. The the second time was very late at night. It should have been fixed after the first time the day before.

Disappointing
Pros:

View from room nice. Bed and pillows comfortable and plush. Restaurant food and service good and liquor very reasonably priced.
Breakfast was not included as it is at most Irish hotels. And WI-FI seems to be standard at most all establishments. Reception desk clerk helpful.

Cons:

I live in a 200 year old home and as such am aware of the pitfalls of remodeling. But this facility was done very poorly. Electrical boxes for repositioned light fixtures left exposed. Cracked & stained tiles, paint on walls and trim smeared and sloppy, and obviously non of the woodwork was stripped or even sanded before being painted.

Great history to the former home, right next to the boardwalk and beach. Overall good.
Pros:

The view of the water was great, bed was very comfortable. Staff was helpful and professional.

Cons:

Bathroom was nice but whoever did the repair and repainting did a terrible job and wasn't careful with the cleanup of caulk and paint. It was still a nice shower, and the water pressure was good.
