Holiday Inn Express Seoul Hongdae by IHG

Location is good, center in hongdae. There are many restaurants, cafe, minimarts and also next to AK plaza. Room is big enough for big luggages. Bathroom is also good. Breakfast is so so, I think if you increase more menu or change menu in everyday will be better.

Love the view and our hotel room was clean and comfy looking! Would definitely book again in the future. The staff are also nice

the hotel located next to exit 5 of Hongdae University Metro station. close to the popular area Hongdae ro, a famous area full of excitement.

Location conveniently located above Hongik Univ exit 4 and connected to AK Plaza that has good shopping options. Along Hongdae district which is trendy and has most chain stores. Good hotel to stay if you intend to explore other parts of Korea because most tour buses connect from Hongik University station.

I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express Seoul Hongdae. The location is perfect—directly connected to Hongik University Station and right in the middle of Hongdae’s lively food, shopping, and cafe scene. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi and a quiet environment. Housekeeping was consistent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast had a nice selection of simple Korean and Western options. Overall, this hotel is convenient, safe, and excellent for both short and longer stays in Seoul. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Great stay! It is very conveniently located and the rooms were comfortable. The only issue I had was that the heat couldn’t really be turned down even with the controls, but there is a window you can open if needed.

Overall positive experience staying here during business travel in Dec 2025. There are many restaurants and amenities nearby. Subway station is just right at the doorstep.

Good location. The gym room is operate in limited hours, close after 10pm. It is not convenient for business travelers. Other than this, perfect hotel.

Overall experience was great during 2nights stay in this hotel, especially its location as it is just step away after came out from hongik unis exit 5.
And it also have direct metro to Incheon airport + luggage transfer service which make our journey much more convenience.
Overall hotel room was good, cleaninness, space, and having great view to hongdae street.

this is my second time in Seoul Korea and me and my friend choose to stay at hongdae holiday inn express. What a wonderful hotel! Prime location and cozy room , comfy beds and clean:) the only cons is room is a little small (compared to California). Sometimes at night it got noisy but it’s in the center of hongdae shopping streets, so well that is expected :). Overall great experience and I’ll stay here again!

Excellent location just 1 min walk from Hongik Univ. Station Exit 5, reception staff was nice and professional, room is spacious and comfortable with nice city view.

Hotel location convenient to all places I want to go so it helps on minimise travel time and having excellent access to transportation.
