Pros:

L’emplacement près d’une plage sympathique et possibilité d’aller à pieds dans le centre ville

Cons:

Nous n’avons pas compris le comportement du personnel. Ils parlent très mal anglais et se permettent de ricaner dans une langue que nous ne comprenons pas ce qui nous a mis très mal à l’aise. Nous nous sommes fais disputer comme des enfants par la personne de l’accueil car nous ne nous sommes pas rendu un jour au petit déjeuner. De plus nous avions prévu un safari à Udawalawe et nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise de découvrir que nous étions enfermée de 22h30 jusqu’au matin dans l’hôtel avec des cadenas ??????
Ce que je trouve personnellement très dangereux en cas d’incendie et aucun membre du personnel n’est présent durant la nuit. Nous avons dû escalader un mur pour sortir après avoir trouvé une clef de cadenas. À notre retour du safari le personnel s’est permis de se moquer de nous.
La chambre est globalement propre mais ne correspond pas au prix qui est exorbitant pour le pays. La vue est gâchée par des travaux (qui d’après les commentaires durent depuis très longtemps et sont sûrement des constructions abandonnés). La vue de la piscine n’est donc pas celle de la photo.
Bref rien de grave en soit mais le personnel nous a vraiment mis très mal à l’aise durant nos trois jours dans cet hôtel.

Aussicht von der gemeinschaftlichen Terrasse war noch gut (es wird gerade ein weiteres Gebäude davor gebaut). Der Pool okay. Leider ohne Aussicht.

Cons:

Es gab kein warmes Wasser, kein Zimmerservice. Wir mussten die Kosten für die Unterkunft in bar bezahlen, da das Kartenzahlungsgerät nicht funktionierte. Im Zimmer gab es nur drei Steckdosen, welche alle auf einer Höhe von ca. 1,8m platziert waren. Es gab keinen Föhn. Die Eingangstüre zum Zimmer war aus verspiegeltem Glas, durch welche man aber problemlos durchsehen konnte, sobald Licht im Zimmer an war. Einen Sichtschutz gab es leider nicht.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war sauber, das Frühstück lecker und die Betten bequem. Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis!
Der Pool war gut und wir nutzten ihn jeden Tag, da wir zur Monsunzeit (Off-Season) dort waren. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Cons:

Leider wurde der schöne Meerblick verbaut. Man kann nur hoffen, dass das unfertige Gebäude vor dem Hotel fertig gestellt wird.

Exceptional
Pros:

Sandun was so helpful and very accommodating! The accommodation was clean and the showers had great pressure (something that's been lacking in some of the budget places in Sri Lanka). The air conditioning worked well, and the rooms contained everything we needed. They even gave us towels to use at the beach.

Cons:

Worth noting the single beds are very narrow, however still managed to get an amazing night's sleep. Your mileage may vary.
