Charmant pittoresk hotel met vriendelijk personeel gelegen in een rustgevende bosrijke omgeving. Uitstekend ook als relaxerende tussenstop tijdens de reis. Niet ver van de autostrade.

Einmal ausprobiert, entsprechend des Angebotes mehr erwartet. Bestimmt kein zweites Mal.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, die Sauberkeit ist ebenfalls mit sehr gut zu bewerten. Das Abendbuffet war ausgezeichnet. Das Personal im Restaurant war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Die Freundlichkeit an der Rezeption ließ teilweise zu wünschen übrig, die Speisen aus der Karte im Restaurant haben uns ebenfalls nicht überzeugt (eventuell gar nicht frisch zubereitet, Tiefkühlkost?). Das Frühstücksbuffet war einfach nur lala. Auf der Buchungsseite stand Außergewöhnliches Frühstück. Da frage ich mich, was außergewöhnlich war, vielleicht das es jeden Tag exakt den gleichen Aufschnitt gab und Auswahl recht klein war, auch die Salate waren stets die gleichen, vor allem der Obstsalat sah auch nicht frisch zubereitet aus. Alle Säfte ob beim Frühstück oder im SPA-Bereich nur mit Süßstoff. Für Menschen mit einer Allergie gegen Süßstoff gab es demzufolge nur Leitungswasser.

Thema „Burg“ ist wie ein roter Faden im Hotel erkennbar.
Pros:

Auswahl sowohl beim Frühstück als auch beim Abendbuffet am Samstag waren sehr reichhaltig. Das Personal war immer zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Haben uns leider nicht alles anschauen können.

Besucherritze im Bett :-)

Relaxing, beautiful forested area
Pros:

The rooms were very nice and the sauna / pool facilities were fantastic. The breakfast was very good as well. Staff are very friendly. But the best part was the forest that the hotel is in, many trails to explore and historic buildings in the area.

Hide-away in the woods
Pros:

Great location if you enjoy walking, biking and exploring the cultural history of that pretty corner of rural northern Germany with its imposing brick farmsteads, bronze age megaliths, and protected historical sites such as the adjacent moated castle - now turned convent.
The hotel is surrounded by woods which is pleasant when relaxing on the expansive lawn after a visit to the spa. There is a nice terrace where one can enjoy summer evenings and leisurely breakfast. Everything is tidy and clean and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Cons:

Breakfast could do with a few sweet options. Maybe pancakes or danishes could be added and proper juice is a must.
