Pros:

Bad Dog Policy
Pros:

The hotel is really nice. Clean rooms. Good staff. Fine breakfast. Nothing to complain about. The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 was the dog in the room next door. It barked a lot - because the owner had left it unattended - for several hours. Hilton offered us a different room - but at a hotel in Hershey - 20 miles away - since all of their Mechanicsburg area hotels were sold out. Not good. At 9 PM the solution isn't for me to move. The person with the dog should move, or be thrown out. (Particularly since that person hadn't told the hotel they were bringing a dog!) By 11:30 they returned to their room and rough housed with the dog, until I called the front desk - again. So again, very nice hotel - really worth 5 stars - but terrible policy on dogs. I lost a lot of sleep - and unfortunately it seems this could have happened at any Hilton anywhere.

Bad plumbing
Pros:

The plumbing is in bad need of repair. Apparently it is a chronic problem and they are aware of the problem but Hilton will not address it properly. My mother and spouse stayed their Tuesday night last week (May 19th) and I used 50,000 points to book them a room and even the toilet downstairs in the public area was taped off.

I stay at Hilton hotels frequently and was very upset that Hilton will not address an issue like this.

Accommodating
Pros:

I had originally booked through a third party and when I arrived, my reservation could not be located. Rick, at the front desk did everything possibly to help— search my name, email, confirmation number, etc. Thankfully there was availability. He helped me book a new room. I was so happy to have a place to stay because I needed to be in town for Mother’s Day.

very good, but if you improved breakfast and make rooms every day, will be great.
Cons:

rooms should be made up every day...breakfast was not very good--need more variety, better quality hot foods, restock more often.
