Nice hotel, great location. Breakfast is not worth paying extra for. Our rooms were mixed temperatures - one was comfortable, other we couldn't get the heating off,🥵
The property has two detached sections with somewhat different ambient comparing to the main house that looks appealing. So assuming you booked a room for 2, you will likely be placed in this “not so appealing” rooms. In any case, the property can pass as average for small town standards
Ample parking, room was spacious. Shower did not function well and breakfast was fair.
Friendly service from Jamie at check in, stayed in courtyard room but the bed was not comfortable, usb sockets did not work and the 3 pin plug socket was very slow to charge my phone. Could not charge a second item due to usb socket not working. Felt the price paid was definitely not worth the quality of the room or furnishings for a remote location. The room and bathroom needs modernising, carpet was dirty and was only in room for 10 hrs due to late check in and needing to be out early next day for a commitment. I personally would not choose to stay here again and only booked here as friends had booked this in a package deal but was not my hotel of choice.
Beautiful site. Very clean. Food was good.
Lovely
friendly staff. Breakfast staff not attentive, required going to reception to speak to breakfast staff to atend to our needs as they were chatting to reception staff.
We took the bus which means you’ll have a serious 15 minute ish walk to the hotel with last but up a steep hill but we’re young and knew what we signed up for. The grounds are beautiful and the room was great. The staff were super friendly and kinda. Great time would do again but if you have bad knees drive or rent a different hotel
The property is set in a great location and is handy for Dublin airport. Our bedroom was comfortable with the exception of the bed; this was at the end of its life and the mattress was not that comfortable. The location is quiet so we slept OK. The staff just two of them) were friendly but it must be a tough place to work as there seemed to be few staff.
The bed mattress in Room TWO needs replacing and also one hears noise from 06.00 from the small kitchen/washing up area beneath it, which was irritating. The small selection of food served in the bar was OK but there is no atmosphere within the bar area and it feels 'cold and sterile'.
Nice hotel with very nice rooms but very old building with nice feel
Poor furnishing , old and tied bedrooms.
Toilet running al night .
Window sill damaged
Poorly decorated .
Not worth half the cost
if you are looking for just a room to rest and reasonable price, it is ok.
Bathroom / shower is quite small. The carpet is not quite clean but acceptable.
No water when we arrived and there is electricity maintenance something like that on the day we left (luckily we were not staying for an other day).
We have to check out at 5:30am and I already called the night before and let the front desk knew. On the day of checkout, we rang the doorbell and knocked at the door for few minutes before someone came to open the door. iit made us nervous.
Other than that, it is ok. But unfortunately, it is unlikely we will stay there again.
Unfortunately the buffet breakfast was not kept hot enough and with cold plates we were unimpressed as it was almost cold by the time we got sat down.

Disappointing End to Our Irish Adventure
We have been travelling around Ireland for nine days, and sadly, our last night at Leixlip Manor was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we were informed that the water was off, which was not a great start. We were directed to outside rooms in a courtyard, which were small and quite hot. The bathroom and shower were extremely tiny, making it rather uncomfortable.
The bar staff were absolutely lovely and very friendly, which was the highlight of our stay. However, due to the water issue, the only option for dinner was bar meals, which were quite ordinary and didn’t really meet our expectations.
Overall, while the staff were warm and welcoming, the overall experience didn’t match what we had hoped for on the final night of our trip.
Great location with a fantastic room that we stayed in. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Don't ever book here if you're coeliac! They told me when booking that they could cater for me and breakfast wouldn't be an issue. I was told all the chef will make me is an egg - the breakfast is €17.50!!!
Quaint and clean
Really lovely place to stay. Lovely setting and not too far from the airport
Everything was perfect from the time I booked my event in 2024 to the time we left after the event on the 13th of July 2025. The prifessionalism of the staff and the cleanliness was unbelievable.
The food was beautiful and the rooms were hugh.
I would highly recommend this hotel for any event.
The room didn’t have air dryer!!
