Great boutique hotel with great restaurant with delicious food and nice not too loud music. My husband even asked for the playlist. We were here with our 3 kids and they loved the pool and playing on the beach. The suite is big with an amazing view and close to the restaurant. The hotel is situated in the small ‘village’ of Paamul, which makes the setting very local and homely. Definitely recommend to stay here if you like small cosy hotels with good service like us.
This hotel's biggest advantage is really its superb location - just in front of Paamul beach and surrounded by serene nature. The views from the rooms are stunning. The included breakfast was amazing, and the restaurant's food was great overall. Most importantly, the staff at the restaurant was extremely kind and lovely and really made up for everything else!
As much as we loved the location and the kind staff, there were quite a few downsides. There is a lot of construction at the property right now, and only a makeshift reception in what appears to be a sales office. While the rooms are spacious and overall cleanish, they are very damp and quite outdated: the bathroom appliances were rusty, the walls were stained, the AC was leaking, and there was mold in a couple of places. The room was sparsely equipped, with a rudimentary kitchenette and a cheap mini coffee maker. The price-performance ratio did not match at all, especially compared to other accommodations we stayed in during our trip. It's a shame, really, because all it would take is a little more maintenance.
Very comfortable, sandy beach at your doorstep, chill atmosphere , sunbeds, pool with whirlpool, beach service and all other resort-ish amenities included.

Breakfast was amazing! Take the breakfast included option: you get fluffy pancakes with fruit, 2 eggs with delicious bacon, juice and an American coffee, that they would refill for free. Dinners were also tasty.
Rooms are a little bit outdated and AC was leaking.
Waiters are used to USA style of tipping, which is not the case in other parts of the Yucatán peninsula (Holbox, Valladolid, Merida, etc.). As Europeans we apparently didn’t tip them enough the first night one of them (Maartin) didn’t even look at us anymore during the rest of our stay, after we gave him “just” 10% tip. Other staff members were friendly and helpful - maybe also because we increased our tips as we didn’t want to be ignored by the whole resort for the rest of our stay.

Das Frühstück ist zwar im Preis enthalten gewesen, bekommen hat man aber nur ein Gericht aus der Tageskarte. Also entweder Obst oder Brot oder Ei … dazu americano oder Tee. Der Cappuccino kostete über 4€.
The view is amazing and the beach is gorgeous. It’s close to Playa del Carmen without being crazy or touristy. The food at the restaurant is excellent (though expensive). During the day, there are lots of day visitors, but by 5pm or so, the crowd thins out and it gets quiet.
The service is not amazing. The front office is very transactional and while the waitstaff are lovely, service in the restaurant can be very slow. As long as you are ok with a slow vibe, it won’t bother you!

Breakfast service was very slow and the quality was inconsistent.
Location is top! Accomodation is right next to the beach. The beach is rocky, stones. We could do some snorkeling! Cleaning personal made a good job! If you want to do some food shopping you have to have a car or get a taxi!
Breakfast is included in the price however you have to be careful only 1 drink and 1 plate of food is included, if you want to have another one you have to pay for it! Also you have to pay for the smoothies and other breakfast options!

You have to give them a tip 15% a minimum but they like to get over 20%, if you give smaller they don’t look happy.
Also if you order a pina colada in a restaurant you get it in a big glass , the same pina colada if you order it on the beach side you will get it in a smaller glass … very interesting.
Hotel located in a private, very safe area. If you're looking to relax, this is the ideal place. The room is clean and spacious, with a balcony that provides direct access to the beach (literally, you go down 2 steps from your balcony and you're on the beach). The restaurant is good, although a bit expensive, but within the price range for the area. The beach is very beautiful, although a bit rocky, and very clean.
Die Lage und der Strand sind traumhaft (zum Entspannen und Sonnen), Frühstück ist gut, auch das Abendessen im Restaurant schmeckt. Tauchbasis am Gelände ist sehr zu empfehlen. Preislich eher amerikanisches/Europäisches Niveau.
Zimmer sind etwas kahl und leer. Leider etwas abgenutzt und alt sowie nur bedingt sauber. Es gibt keine richtige Rezeption, nur ein "Back Office" und einen WhatsApp Support.
Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Preise sind gerade noch OK, Preis-Leistung ist verbesserungswürdig.
The location makes this hotel a top choice. The beach and the snorkeling spots in the water are sublime. The beach club has great food and service.
Our room was getting a little rusty, literally. The beds were good though. Everything is cleaned daily and the balcony makes you forget everything.
