The location was convinient. One room was big.
Breakfast was not offered. Customer service was terrible. One of our rooms was NOT a king suite (no couch in the room/no fold out), but staff would not take any off the price of the room. Staff did not respond to multiple requests for assistance with pillows, etc. The fold out bed in the other room was so uncomfortable, it was next to impossible to sleep on. Staff did not provide sheets for the fold out even after requesting. The bathroom door (barn door) did not stay closed.
Staff are wonderful & rooms are immaculately clean & fresh. The patio & gathering spaces were really nice, ambiance of evening offerings, including a live band on Friday night, was really fun and special.
This is one of nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in, but my mattress was so lumpy & old that I left with a terrible back ache. It ruined my whole trip, no way to get enough sleep to enjoy the day activities.
I was disappointed by several things: bathroom smelled terribly of mold, the faucet in bathroom was extremely hard to move, the bed I was on was sunken in on one side, after I went to bed the person in the room above me was stomping around for at least 30 minutes, and I had no idea it was $75 extra to bring a pet as I had booked online.
Nice facilities and good food.
Water for shower wasn't hot.
This is our second day at four points in Scotts Valley, we really do like this hotel. We feel like it is well cared for and comfortable. A few things we would like to share the others need to be aware of, the doors are heavy and close loudly so if you’re a light sleeper, this might be a problem for you. This time we had an adjoining room door and we could hear the people next to us clearly, even some things we wish we hadn’t heard. Overall, we would stay here again. The staff is very friendly and helpful with anything we needed.
Loud closing doors. Construction happening during the time we were there.
Only had lukewarm water. I made a complaint when I got there and was told that "no one else was complaining about it". Then on the last day the whole hotel was out of hot water. Asked for a discount but nothing addressed yet. They were still booking rooms even they didn't have hot water—guests were trying to switch to a new room that had hot water and the staff wasn't informing the new guests that the hotel was out of hot water.
Water temperature, was cold. That was all three days it was cool.
Location
AC didn’t work and I asked for it to be fixed twice with no results.
Also reported TV could not be turned on with remote and had to locate button on back of TV to turn on. This never got fixed as well when reported.
I asked for the manager to call me on two different days and I did not receive a return call.
When I reported to the front staff that the AC was still not working , the Front staff tried to blame it on the system not being on. I explained the system was on but not working. I have a masters in engineering and don’t need to be insulted.
Attached is a photo .. the system was on with a setpoint of 66 and it was 74 in the room.
I had to sleep with the doors going to the outside patio open to cool off the room.
No breakfast
Shower sprayed out on tile floor which was slippery
Hand Shower did not work
No hot water one day
No microwave
This is a dated facility run by people who could care less. We booked a room for three persons. Room advertised that it featured a pull out couch for the third adult. Upon arrival to the room, we were unable to pull out the bed. We went down to have it fixed. The agent told it was broken. THEY ADMITTED that they knew it was broken and unusable. There was no other room available.
Was there any compensation for not fulfilling our needs? NO…just an I’m sorry.
Please don’t stay here. Again poorly maintained, dated property with people who could care less.
Classy lobby, service is better at check out, great bar and courtyard and the guest bathroom is amazing.
