Really welcoming team , all happy, cheerful and helpful ….. which in my experience was quite exceptional. Dining experience was top quality . Room was way above my expectations. Just a great place to stay for a few nights whilst going to the golf at Birkdale . Lovely terrace to sit on and have a glass of Rose . Ambience was delightful .
Warm and cool in the right places, rooms warm and welcoming as were all staff, who went out of their way to help. Beds were soo comfortable we both slept really well.
There was nothing to fault the property, but we did feel that the food in the orangery was rather expensive. Although there was a £35 allocation for the evening meal, this fell very short of the cost of the meal, it really only covered the main course, so a starter, desert and drinks really added up, and there was no choice but to add expense to the bill.
Staff , room, facilities excellent
Long delay waiting for cooked breakfast
Loved everything from start to finish. My spa, treatment, food, lovely kind staff, beautiful surroundings
The only tiny thing there was no milk in the room to make a drink but it was ok. I managed, - no drama
Clean everywhere nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff
Everything
First visit. Didn't know what to expect, but came away impressed
The staff were all incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast in The Orangery was superb.
The room was absolutely fine but decor a little dated
I really liked the whole spa experience, including an evening meal and breakfast. It just made the day seem like a full experience rather than just a spa. The hotel was lovely, the facilities were excellent and the staff were really helpful and friendly.
The air conditioning in the rooms needs to be turned down by the concierge, not something that you can control manually yourself, which is a shame
The location and staff were very helpful. Good breakfast nice coffee machine in the room.
Sink in the bathroom had quite a few chips in it. Also mirror bathroom didn’t work. Shower tray very slippery.
Everything was perfect as usual.
Beautiful and clean
Pillows a bit hard but bed great
Everything including the staff were excellent.
I loved everything about spa hotel
The pillows weren't comfortable. That's the only negative thing
The spa facilities were very good and so was the food in the restaurant
Comfort. Attentive staff
What’s not to like
Loved our corner suite with balcony. Comfortable bed. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
Bath was tiny in our bathroom, I love to have a long soak in bubbles. Couldn't stretch out and I'm 5ft 3inch. Only there for 1 night, so not a problem.
Some of the jets in the Hydro pool not working, I remembered it being the same 13 months ago when I lasted visited. Really important to have all areas functional as it gets busy.
Spacious room. Staff pleasant.
Too expensive considering the hotel is not in a city, or in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The spa was £62
Room £200 per night with booking .com discount. Still should be lower priced.
