Very distasteful business practice. Especially when it was a busy time and I know our room was given away

Location had its perks

Cons:

I made a mistake (easily done) by double booking. A room. Exact same room for same dates. Booking.com asked them to verify that it was a double booking so that I could get our money back. They refused
I’m sure you can understand this was very upsetting. Especially when paying over $800/ night.
Would not even entertain the idea

I am a business owner. Such poor practice.

I travel a lot and so does my family Will not be booking through booking.com or Hyatt again!!

Cons:

Sound late at night (11 pm) from the social area (bar) was evident in our room. Particularly disturbing to my wife who is a light sleeper.

Far Below Standards – Would Not Recommend
Pros:

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel and would not recommend it.

The toilet in my room did not flush properly the entire time, and I had to pour water into it manually just to use it. I even left a note for housekeeping, but nothing was done. The bathroom sliding door was also unsafe—it was off its track and swung freely, making it a hazard.

I fully understood that access to the room was needed for an internet upgrade. However, it is not acceptable that this happened twice in two days, both times in the evening after I had already been out of the room all day. On both occasions, my “Do Not Disturb” sign was ignored. On the second day, I was even told, “We thought maybe you did not mean to put it on the door.” This is a clear disregard for guest privacy.

I raised these issues with management, but the response I received was dismissive and inaccurate. My concerns about the broken toilet and unsafe door were ignored, and the explanation for ignoring the “Do Not Disturb” sign was unprofessional.

Between the maintenance problems, safety hazards, disregard for privacy, and poor handling of my complaint, this stay fell far below the basic standards guests should be able to expect.
