Beautifully kept bale in a peaceful location with impeccable service
Pros:

Bale Solah is a beautiful boutique hotel with bespoke furnishings from the pool loungers and umbrellas to the light fittings. Our room was airy, light and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was sparkling. The service is impeccable from dawn to dusk and the pool and property is surrounded by nature. Highly recommended!

Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel qui était toujours souriant et au petit soin avec nous.
Le petit déjeuner est préparé avec soin et beaucoup d'attention par Wati. C'est un vrai délice.

Cons:

La localisation est un peu isolée mais cela est compensé par la mise à disposition d'une navette gratuite pour rejoindre le Beach club de l'hôtel ou la location de scooter.

It was really loud in the room because of the road next to the hotel. If you want a quiet atmosphere, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

Geweldige service en diensten!
Pros:

De service is buitengewoon. Ze hebben zo goed als alle diensten in huis dus wordt alles geregeld door het hotel. (Beach club, steakhouse, fitness…) Wij hebben alvast verlengd! Geweldige ervaring.

It is not a 5-star hotel. The owner did not show us any 5-star certificate proving it is such a hotel. He also offended Indonesia calling it 'third world country' as well as our country as a poorer one than the one of his origin, which was arrogant and clearly unacceptable. We were shocked with such behaviour. The hotel is located by a very busy road, it was very noisy in our room so we asked for a change of the room, which turned out to be a problem for the place owner. A swimming pool and the reception desk are just next to the busy and noisy road. There is no proper and elegant reception desk or lobby - it looks like a shed with one desk. No 24-hour reception service. The breakfast is not a buffet with a variety of products and dishes but instead, we had to choose our option from a limited set menu. What's more, we had to make the decision one day before and set the exact time. We booked the place for 2 nights but decided to leave it just after 1 night. Generally, calling this place a 5-star hotel is a big joke.

Pros:

Das Personal war immer sehr bemüht und der Shuttle Service war super. Man konnte sich jederzeit zum Beach Club fahren lassen den man kostenlos mitnutzen durfte. Die Eigentümerin hat sich stehts um unsere Anliegen gekümmert und war immer für einen netten Plausch zu haben. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Wati aus dem Frühstücksservice, sie war sehr bemüht.

Cons:

Ein wohl bekanntes Problem sind die Flecken auf der Bettwäsche wie überall in Indonesien.

Superb
Pros:

This place is very quiet and calm. If you want to relax and enjoy the sun and swimming pool it's a perfect place for that.

The staff is really nice and the food is excellent. They also have laundry and scooter rental service.

Cons:

I was disturb many times per day to ask me if I wanted a drink or to eat dinner or my order for breakfast. I would prefer to ask myself if I want some food or if I have a question.

We had the best time here! Everyone was amazing and we would definitely come back
