Monte Cristo Hotel with Rooftop Pool

Dirty, outdated and scruffy bathroom full of hairs in the shower and on the floor.
Bed was decent, fridge was old and had to be switched off at night because of the noise it made.
The pool was dirty, there was no way I was going in that water, the whole reason I booked this place it was advertised as a hotel with a rooftop pool.
which turned out to be dirty and questionable.

This place need a refurbishment asap!! From the beginning we had issues. First they couldn’t find our booking, when they finally did they didn’t see the payment we did, we had to go to our bank statement to show the we actually paid. We got a room on floor -2 which technically is 1st floor but it felt like a dungeon. We were greeted by a lovely mold on the wall!! Bathroom was awful, shower curtain dirty, so much hair on the floor and ants in the sink!! balcony is small and the view was disturbed by tree branches that had old dirty towels hanging from, plus other garbage!! The only plus is the swimming pool on the roof with a gorgeous view. This is second and last time we stayed here. Not worth money!!

The building is old and it shows in some places, didn't bother me really when looking at the beach from the balcony or the amazing rooftop pool. Biggest flaw in my opinion was poor sound insulation to the hallways (banging doors woke me up at 7 every morning) and the useless air conditiong. Me and my 3 new friends had exceptional service at the rooftop pool and that counts alot.

The hotel was closed they moved me to a different hotel mu room was not cleaned the following day.

My family and I recently spent a week in Sarandë, and we had the pleasure of staying at Kanes Hotel which is own by the same owner of Monte Cristo Hotel. From the start, it was an amazing experience. The views were beautiful, and the hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. The staff stood out for their friendliness and quick responsiveness—they were always ready to help and made us feel so welcome.

One of the big highlights was the private secured parking, which gave us peace of mind knowing our car was safe and conveniently accessible. The self-check-in option was also a bonus, making our arrival smooth and hassle-free.

Kanes Hotel truly made our stay in Sarandë feel special, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Thank you for a wonderful experience!”

Laute Musik bis in die Nacht, hat uns aber nicht gestört, anschließend ein nervtötendes Geräusch im Türrahmen, das uns die ganze Nacht nicht hat schlafen lassen, als wenn sich etwas durchbeißen will. Wir wissen bis heute nicht, was es war. Hellhörig, aus dem Nachbarzimmer hat man alles gehört, erst recht morgens viertel 4, erst ***, dann duschen, dann laute Musik. Gebucht nur und ausschließlich wegen dem tollen Pool, der absolut nicht nutzbar war. Keine Pumpe an, richtig ekelig selbst bei Dunkelheit zu erkennen. Auf Nachfrage, keine Ahnung, was gemeint sein könnte und auch kein Interesse, es sich anzuschauen. Ok, müssen wir anscheinend mit leben, sehr preiswert war es.

Nous avons passer une nuit d hôtel horrible . La chambre ne correspondait pas à la réservation et l état statut pitoyable tant sur la sécurité ( câble électrique apparent sur balcon, dans la chambre et même dans la salle de bain ) que l a propreté ( moisissure , insecte …). Un parking réserve qui était plein . Une piscine très très sale et rempli sur 50 d haut

Had booked 2 nights but only stayed for one.
Hotel is very old fashioned and in need of renovation but it is clean.
Very noisy due to location but not the Hotels fault.
Breakfast was not included so we decided to buy breakfast as we were told at reception it was €6.50 each. When we were presented with the breakfast bill it was for €25 for 2 of us. When we queried this we were told that it was because we also asked for orange juice & coffee & that they were not included in the price. Whilst we were happy to pay for an 'additional' coffee we were not aware that a drink was not included with breakfast. To be fair to the manager he did refund us €9 because of the 'misunderstanding'.
Just be aware if travelling to this hotel to make sure you understand what is included and what you will be charged for.

Pool was very dirty. Couldn’t even use it. Balconies looked extremely unsafe and cracked. Air-conditioning did not work, rooms were dirty. Toilet seat broken had to leave your car keys in reception with nobody looking after them on the desk. Reception was meant to be managed 24 hours but keys were left completely unattended for anybody from the street to walk in and grab them. would not recommend to stay here it’s a shame because the hotel itself could be beautiful but needs money spending on it to bring it up to Standard!

It was in a good position and the views were stunning, but it was extremely noisy at night and the bathroom left a lot to be desired!

Girl in reception was fantastic. Only thing to complain about was WiFi in room 401. Useless.
In other rooms was WiFi ok. Breakfast ok too. Really nice view from rooftop.

ホテルはバス発着所から6、7分で、ビーチまで数分の好立地。map.meの示す位置からさらに発着所から先にある。最初、トリプル、ガーデンビューだったが、シングル、シーヴューに変更していただいた。部屋は充分広く、ベランダからビーチを望める。朝食も目玉焼きやスクランブルエッグなどがあり、質量ともに申し分ない。さらに、屋上のプールは20mはあると思いが、充分泳げる。また泊まりたいホテルの１つです。

Trevligt bemötande med snabb incheckning. Poolen på taket och utsikten var det bästa. Stort rum. Få uttag för att ladda elektronik. Smart men jobbig trapp för att ta sig till stranden och affär. Tråkigt att man får röka vid poolen. Vi var mycket nöjda med vårt rum och den fantastiska utsikten från balkongen.
