Easy self check in. Train station and shopping mall across the road. Having a balcony was good and laundry service was good.

I am a solo traveler. This was my last minute option as I needed to extend my stay in Kyoto, and it was a great decision. This hotel is located very close to the station and a full shopping centre, restaurants & convenience stores. The train station and the location of this hotel is perfect for you if you are to visit Arashiyama early/late & travel to other locations. This is probably the golden spot for you.
Early check-in not available: at the entry there is a space where you can chain your luggage (your own responsibility as hotel is not manned), self-check in using the tablet - do the pre-register as instructed in an email (you will receive one before your stay). If you travel with a backpack only, at the station you will find a number of coin lockers, which is super convenient.
The room has all the basic amenities: I stayed in a twin room because it was a last minute booking (non-smoking). The bed was very comfortable and I had 2 good night sleeps. Extra sense of security as the door locks with a hood from the inside. There is a full size fridge in the room and a microwave. Also, a coffee machine and complimentary 1 coffee pod. Pyjamas are additional 200 yen, available by the elevator on ground floor. Slippers are available in the room but poor quality. Also, a small size wardrobe is also available, which for me alone was more than enough. The room itself is spacious. Bathroom suit a little on a tighter side but for 80kg person, it was enough space. The room and the bathroom was clean and quiet. In the morning, a fresh set of towels were left in a bag on a door handle for me to pick up (I had dnd sign on the door).
Overall, great location, good rooms and peaceful sleep. I recommend booking yourself in.

The room was very large and clean. It was very well equipped with television, frigobar, water heater and many toiletries. It was cleaned every day and our towers were changed every day. The check-in and check-out were super fast and easy and we could leave our lugagge in the lobby before our check-in and after our check-out.

Super near by station, two different kind of convenience stores and two big supermarkets around.

二条駅からすぐ。徒歩2分くらい。JRと東西線が使えて、観光に便利。
築浅なのか広く落ち着いた部屋、水回りが新しい。湯量がたっぷりなので、疲れを癒すことができる。無人チェックイン、チェックアウトも快適。ネスプレッソのサービスあり。部屋で美味しいコーヒーが飲めたので嬉しかった。満室のようだったが、本当に静か。道路に面しているが、側道のためほとんど騒音なし。食事は二条駅周りにたくさん飲食店があり便利。やよい軒もあって尚良し　。この立地と広々とした快適な部屋でこのお値段は相当お買い得感あり。
