Not the worst, but certainly not the best
Pros:

Asakusa, Tokyo - it's where everyone ends up at some point or another, no?
(Having been before) we knew how busy Asakusa gets, and what our (limited) budget - at the tail end of 16 days romping across Japan during Sakura season - would afford us.
So, whilst certainly not a "budget" option, Tamayura Hotel would suffice - well-situated with a view over the Sumida River should make the asking price worth it, no? Alas...

Cons:

The "breakfast" was self-serve toast (using the slowest toasters known to mankind) + generic coffee or tea
The roof deck is barren, devoid of any seating (a great shame given the view it enjoys)
The in-room TVs were channel-locked - w/ no external cast/connect or options (we don't holiday to watch TV, but still?)

...

The sleep-unsettling sound of critters in the void spaces. Yup, CRITTERS!
We complained. We got a room swap -but no compensation. Not even an apology!

如果一個晚上價格低於1000/人 可以考慮 如果超過的話 有更多更好的選擇
Pros:

1.員工人很好
2.退宿後可以寄放行李
3.飯店位置距離淺草線出口 A2b很近 而且有電梯非常方便
4.早餐的土司是附近很有名的土司 但早餐不怎麼樣東京是可以吃飽這樣
5.廁所雖然很小 但是水流很大，洗澡很舒服
6.床蠻舒服的，但雙人房真的特別小

Cons:

1.房間燈光超暗
2.房間都是灰塵 整潔度有待加強
3.房間味道不好聞 且毛巾的味道超怪的
4.房間鄰近路邊 隔音很差 聽得到很大聲的車聲，但這幾天太累都睡著了
5.冰箱太小 （但開啟後過幾個小時會涼啦 只有冷藏功能）

Direkt an Asakusa Station
Pros:

Gute Lage, sehr nah an Asakusa Station und Sensoji. Direkte Anbindung Narita Airport. Lounge im obersten Geschoss, wo man die Aussicht genießen und selbst mitgebrachtes Essen essen kann.

Cons:

Kleine Zimmer, aber das ist normal in Tokio.

Nice small hotel in walking distance to Asakusa Station.
Pros:

Excellent little hotel in the middle of Asakusa with friendly staff. Small rooms with nicely smelling tatami mats and a comfortable bed. The river view on the 9th floor in the common room or from the roof is nice.

If you travel with a big suitcase you have a bit of a problem. Two people and 2 big suitcases in a single room and you will suffer. For a single person like myself with a carry-on and a backpack it was perfectly fine.

If you get a room facing the road you might need earplugs. I got one facing a backyard and i was fine.

Cons:

Not much to complain about considering the size, class and price range of the hotel. I can't understand the critical reviews. I think they are mostly based on wrong expectations. Like expecting a big European or US sized hotel room with all its amenities.

My only minor critique point is maybe the breakfast. It's basically toast, marmalade and butter and coffee or tea. You have to decide if the price difference is worth it. In the middle of Asakusa you can find nice cafes, bakeries and combinis that offer a bigger choice, so maybe book without breakfast and pickup something on the way.
