I booked lake view but they said it was city view..very misleading
Not well maintained, needs renovation.
Also, they have changed 2 bedroom unit to 2 separate units without notice to client. We are family of five and supposed to be staying in 1 unit of 2 bedrooms so we can have bonding but we were informed upon arrival that they don't have the unit and we're left with no option but to take what is available.
Bed foams and sofa are very old really hurt the back.
No wifi internet but Hotels.com indicates with wifi.
Also, we were informed by the agent that we need to be out by 11:30am, this is earlier that what is posted in Hotels.com website when i book.
Booking was cancelled by the property and no refund.. terrible experience, we had to find another hotel at night time.
The number for the property is no longer in use. You dont have any contact with the condo owner. We waited for a significant akount of time at the property frontdesk to wait for someone to check us in. When the staff arrived they told us that they dont have our booking details, and if when did we booked it. This is considering that we have booked the hnit 2 weeks prior. When we came into the unit, there is no hot water system for showers. The taps are all leaking and making generator kind noises all night. It was really hard to sleep with all that faucet raucous. Expedia should that a good look into delisting this one. Overall, very bad experience for me and my family.
Nothing was free, unlike advertised. Pool was a P300 a day use that was not mentioned during my reservation. The self-parking was a lie too because they charged me P700 for two days of parking for the space assigned to the unit. The unit was fine but could use more cleaning and upkeep. I guess you really get what you pay for!
The unit if not the best , has got one of the best views of the Tall lake!
However ; it needs maintaining and updating. The host and staffs are polite accommodating and reliable.
Yes we paid a reasonable rate/price , but still its no excuse as to why the unit is dated and almost rundown; almost all of the drawers and cabinets door are broken , the rice cooker is rusty, and the silvers are not presentable .
Since they want to be in the business of having their unit to be rented out, it is only fair and reasonable on the guests end to have a clean updated well kept place to stay.
Hope the owners wont take this review negatively,
Again I will repeat your place unit got one of the best view of the lake, maybe if you will take more time and effort to update and maintain it a lot of future guests will recommend you more.
I’ve stayed in many places around the world the space is perfect, it is very spacious and accommodating. My room was excellent for relaxation, especially being use to climate back home. Having the air con made it very comfortable. I was only there for one night and had an early check out but I could see that staying for a longer duration would be very easy to do. The price is very fair and I would highly recommend if anyone is staying for business or pleasure the Wind is an excellent choice. The price is very fair for anyone wanting to spend quality time in Tagaytay. I was one the 3rd floor and my view was very good I didn’t get a chance to check the view from a top floor window but I can tell it probably very beautiful.
Most of all the incredibly pleasant staff. They are very genuine and eager to help, I felt very safe staying at the Wind.
Had a great time. Well worth the money!
Nice to have a budget place to stay
The room was in terrible condition.
needs improvement
The bedding were not clean at all. Were not change. The towels were very old. They provide toilet paper not even enough for a day use. No paper towel at sink
The room was not very clean. Smells old and there were bugs that bit me. It was not comfortable at all. Took photos of the bugs and my swollen legs.
Need to improve. Renovation of the room
This is my second time staying here, but I'm sad to say that the rooms I got this time were a little dated and smelled like mold (both of them). I booked two rooms, and the other room had a working aircon, but unable to turn off or adjust settings. I even bought new batteries for the remote.
SMCO representative was nice and helpful, but I felt weird leaving the room keys in a locker with NO LOCK. what if someone stole the keys and cleared out the room? Will I be responsible for that? Representative assured me it's safe. She even told me about the paid parking, which was ₱350 a day. That was perfect and convenient! I wasn't aware about that on my first trip and parking was pretty far.
Location was good, with a few restaurants and a small mall within walking distance, but I suggest renting a car or taking a Grab if traveling with elderly.
Mornings were the best with many people to join in your morning walk. Ambiance and cooler temperatures were awesome! You also feel a sense of safety throughout most of the property.
In spite of the mold in the rooms and the fact that it felt dated, I will still give it another chance and hope my next stay here will be better. Location and the big, open park to walk in is what I enjoy they most. I would still recommend this place to anyone looking for an inexpensive and enjoyable experience.
Love where we at the 23rd floor. For its price, cant complain. For suggestion, with a little re-design, it can be instagrammable. Thank you so much
The room was filthy. I was supposed to be in Tower 4, but they decided tower 3 is the same accommodation. It was not the same. It was an old building with very basic room amenities. How can you offer this room to guest coming from thousands of miles and looking for a nice vacation. You should be ashamed Wind Residence Tagaytay. I believe they have 20 or more rooms offering it in Expedia, hotels and other sites. Your rooms are not for tourist coming from other countries who require decent room amenities. Take your room ads off this sites. I'm so embarrassed as a Filipino.
I wished they are more informative of how the check in process is at least a day before the check in front desk is not well informed of how we should get our assistance to get up to unit… and more cleaning supplies/equipment in unit to maintain the cleanliness of place.
No towels, no cleaning of the room, etc.
In the kitchen everything was dirty. Electric appliances worked poorly or not at all ! The sink tap was not well fixed to the sink. The rice cooker was out of service and dangerous because of wires not insulated. There is no water heater in the kitchen which is bad for washing dishes.
In the bathroom the lavabo was partially blocked so the water remains a long time before being evacuated.
Vleaning of the whole appartment is not well done, the ground was greasy, the towels ant the bedsheets barely or not cleaned at all.
The Only positive thing was the tremendous view on Taal volcano.
