Hôtel très bien situé, chambre agréable avec une très bonne literie, une grande salle de bain.
Le petit déjeuner était délicieux, diversifié, avec des spécialités du pays. Il n’y avait pas d’emballage plastique (ce qui est appréciable)
Complimentary water was extremely appreciated as we were both under the weather and unable to leave our room. We also appreciated them holding our luggage for a few hours when we were feeling a bit better the next day so we could see a little bit of Cork before we had to leave.
The location was perfect and the two ladies who greeted us on reception were friendly and welcoming. It wasn’t a problem for us but there was a stag and a hen do in the hotel so the bar was very busy and public places were very noisy. Just a heads up if you’re looking for somewhere quiet!
Fire procedures when the fire alarm goes off!! This is now being investigated. Breakfast was disappointing for the price. On the last morning we went for an early breakfast but a lot of items were not out and my scrambled eggs were cold! The bread looked like yesterdays with only a few bits out which were later restocked.

The cleanliness was bad. 3 rooms booked They didn’t change towels and toilet paper in any room. Only one room was able to check in on time,15 pm, the others only at 17.

Stayed for 2 nights. First night at around 1.30am the fire alarm went off. Woke myself and my girlfriend up with such a fright. Found it very hard to go back to sleep afterwards. The 2nd night it happened again at around 12.30 am. Stayed for two nights and both nights we were woken up by a very loud fire/smoke alarm. Everything other than this was great, room was great, bed was comfortable, staff were friendly but stay was ruined by the fire alarm. We weren't even offered a complementary drink or a discount off our stay, nothing. Not even an apology. This is our favourite hotel to stay in at Cork and is usually great but this has turned us off the hotel for good.
We stayed at this hotel for a few days. The location is excellent, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast selection is varied and plentiful. I am also very grateful for the birthday surprise for my husband – it was a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture.
Unfortunately, our stay was not as relaxing as we had hoped. On two consecutive nights, we were woken up and alarmed by the fire alarm going off. In addition, the air conditioning in our room was not working. The room was extremely hot, making it almost impossible to sleep. We reported this issue and asked for assistance, but unfortunately, the problem was not resolved.
As a result, we did not get proper rest and were actually looking forward to returning home just to get a good night’s sleep. I would also like to note that the parking is not as close as advertised – it is certainly not a 2-minute walk, but closer to 10 minutes.
Excellent all round. Location, staff, room, facilities, prices. All excellent.

Staff and location
1) There is a statement on the hotel website that there is a drop-off space outside the hotel but in fact it is constantly occupied by cars that are parked for a long time.
2) Frequent rumbling noise from plumbing.
3) The room was on the -2 level and that information was not provided at the time when I was booking it.
Close to the city
Shower tiles and head was mouldy and the aircorn unit in the bathroom is very filthy and full of dust. Unable to change aircorn and room was very hot. Noisy neighbours past 1am and fire alarm that went off at 2 in the morning.
