Cons:

We booked this hotel so we could use the indoor swimming pool, but there was a very high charge to use it.
Usually, when a hotel has swimming facilities, they are free.

molto bella la vasca sul terrazzo della camera.

Cons:

Camera un po' piccola per esserre una Junior Suite.
Colazione buona per il cibo ma pessima la presenza delle macchinette automatiche.
Una colazione calda servita ed una persona in grado di preparare un buon cappuccino è una cosa che manca tanto!!!

Pros:

A wonderful newly refurbished hotel. Very stylish, rooms are small, but cosy and so clean. The hotel is very close to the beach and near lots of restaurants.
The separate plus ir the breakfast - very good- there is a warm food corner with scrambled eggs and bacon, but the sweet breakfast table is so big, there's everything you could wish. Bravo!

Réservation en last-minute très agréable (ajoutez l'expérience SPA !)
Pros:

Séjour hors saison donc approche différente d'un séjour estival où tout est très chargé car Gatteo Mare est une station balnéaire prise d'assault comme ses soeurs de la côte de la Romagna.

Tout autour ce sont que des hôtels plus ou moins décantis, fermés pour l'hiver, l'Estense reste ouvert avant de fermer en novembre.
La ville est un peu "morte" hors saison, hormis un bar café sur la place centrale et le restaurant Osteria Romantica (poissons, fruits de mer) à recommander chaleureusement.

Petit-déjeuner copieux et brunch proposé le dimanche (vérifier les horaires).
Le ++ dans les chambres, machine à café LAVAZZA avec dosettes diverses et variées et eau mise à disposition.

Nous n'avons pas pris la demi-pension (par crainte au départ d'avoir un menu trop standardisé).
Personnel accueillant et réactif aussi par messagerie.

En hiver, on peut se garer gratuitement sur les "bandes bleues" mais en été, la solution du parking de l'hôtel est indispensable.

On a réservé le SPA privé en famille (petite piscine à jets, hamman, sauna et douches tropicales ...), 2 heures de tranquillité, l'expérience vaut le détour (par rapport à toutes les offres environnantes où souvent les enfants n'ont pas accès au SPA sauf sur un créneau matinal).

Cons:

Les chambres ont été refaites, pas les parties communes (escalier, couloirs) mais c'est un détail car ils ont donné priorité à la salle à manger, aux façades extérieures et surtout au SPA magnifique.
C'est un GRAND hôtel et nous avons tendance à privilégier les petites structures mais malgré tout, l'Estense a répondu à nos attentes.
