A nice classic hotel with great staff

Good hotel.
Pros:

Good location, big rooms and good parking. Breakfast had a mix of continental and cooked. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

Bit confused over entrance to hotel due to signage.

Pros:

Breakfast was well presented and cooked , good choice. Staff were excellent, could not have been more helpful. Free taxi service to local restaurant for evening meal, splendid.

Cons:

We were expecting an evening meal at the hotel, it was listed in the brochure in the bedroom. So a bit disappointed , after a long journey and emotional visit to relatives, to find that we had to go out to eat. However the manager was extremely helpful.

Close to town centre, staff were friendly, comfortable bed, good breakfast

Cons:

No meals available (apart from breakfast, which was excellent) Cleaning needs to be improved, particularly in the bathroom- needs a good dose of limescale remover & a lot of scrubbing in the shower. Bathroom sink was cracked, dirty plug hole & surround. Mirror, tv & desk top dusty & grimy
