The name of the place.

Cons:

The woman that came to check me in was not friendly or helpful. When I found my room there was a broken down truck with a u-haul trailer sitting next to it in front of the room. To get to the room from the right side there was about a 8-9 inch (step up), to the sidewalk. There was no way I could lift my walker up (esp. with my belongings). I called the woman and she said "I'll talk to him". I sat in my car waiting for her to get back to me and she never did. The truck that was broke down in front of my room, was backed in with the tires against the sidewalk and the tailgate down, so even if there had been a way to get up on the sidewalk (which there wasn't), I couldn't have gotten past him from that side because there was a bench along the building. After sitting for some time, I decided to take a drive and also check out the other side of the truck and u-haul. There was a steep incline at the end of the sidewalk going up to the rooms, so when I returned I got my walker out of my vehicle and loaded it with my belongings. It was a chore getting up the incline and when I got to my room, I realized there was another step to get into the room. Once again, there was no way to lift the loaded walker into the room, so I had to unload everything and set it inside and then lift the walker inside.
The room wasn't fancy, but would have served it's purpose, there was a long rod to hang clothes, but no hangers. It was terribly cold inside, so I searched for a thermostat, but didn't find one. I noticed an air conditioner high on the wall outside the bathroom, next to the sink and I thought about the units in many motels (under the windows) that are heat and a/c. I couldn't read what it said by the buttons, but I felt some heat when I pushed the one button (there was also the faint smell of pot in the air) and I could read the numbers to set the temp, so I set it at 73.

This motel is a great bargain, very comfortable, especially for the price.
Pros:

The one thing that stands out more than anything else is cleanliness. The room was spotless. The price was extremely reasonable. The person who checked us in was friendly, efficient and polite. The buildings are older and so it was a pleasant surprise that all was clean, the furnishings were fairly new, and our stay was comfortable.

Cons:

The only I have is that there is a $5 charge to use the pool.

Good value, good location, friendly staff. But room remained cold even with heater on 72.

The room was decently equipped. But cold. Very cold even when I brought blankets, it never really warmed up and it was too cold to shower.

Too cold. The heater over the sink area did not warm up the room enough for comfort. I am sure it would be great c when n its not freezing v outside or during n g v the summer.
