Comfortable accommodation in quaint town

Pros:

Wonderful staff and a suite was a surprise. Bed was great! Clean.

Cons:

Carpet needs shampooing or replacement, Landing on top of stairs sketchy as patchwork plywood and handrail was shaky. Needs some repair.

Nicer than home.
Pros:

Out of the 7 different places we stayed over the course of this trip, this was by far the favorite. It is practically as comfy as home. Too bad we only stayed one night. We would return in a heartbeat. The shower was very big and roomy. This is very welcome and rare to find in hotels.

Cons:

The couch and arm chair supposed to recline but the mechanism isn't great and I think is made worst by misuse by guests. It's also not that close to restaurants or stores.

Grande appartamento in stile western
Pros:

La stanza John Wayne è un enorme appartamento completo di tutto. Salone con divano e chaise longue, cucina in tema western completa di tutti gli elettrodomestici e due grandi camere da letto!

Nice bed, poor other things. Town was mostly like a ghost town, but it was quiet.
Pros:

Location. Not sure about all rooms, but the bed was very comfortable. All other aspects of the room were like a low budget motel on a rural road.

Cons:

Most things low budget. Cheap towels with holes, vintage furnishings, rotting balcony.

Spacious, clean suite with two bedrooms is great value and in walking distance of downtown Concrete
Pros:

We stayed in a ground floor room called the Island Getaway. We appreciated the value for our money. It was like being in an apartment. It had a kitchen, two bedrooms (one with a TV), a bathroom with a rain shower head, a dining area, a living room with another TV, and a desk. It was bright, there was good WiFi, and the air conditioning was great. The entire "room" was spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower was perfect and the towels were thick and fluffy. It was definitely way more than we were expecting from online photos. The downtown (very small) is walkable from the hotel, or you can drive a little farther for food and groceries.

Cons:

The "master" bedroom (the one with the TV) had a bed that was way too high (I'm 5'3"). I'd recommend adding a footstool.

I would stay here again for the location for North Cascades NP and Mt Baker
Pros:

Location was okay for visiting North Cascades NP. Main Street was nice with a couple of good restaurants. The hotel felt like a safe location, quiet (not much going on in town). Staff at check-in was very friendly.

Cons:

I booked 2 rooms, one for myself & spouse, one for friends. But somehow both rooms got registered as the friend's name (although my credit card) so whenever I checked on the booking they could not find me. Frustrating until we figured it out. Also, the rooms were sparsely supplied, no dishtowel at the kitchen/sink area, no chairs, only a worn sofa. Sounds picky, but the shampoo/conditioner/soap was poor quality. Little things do make an impression.

Perfect for a 1 night stop.
Pros:

Surprised with the space, a separate bedroom, lounge and large bathroom. Each room has a theme, we were in the biker’s room. Staff were lovely. Room was clean and excellent value for money. Not a huge amount to do in Concrete (but we knew that). Perfect for a 1 night stop with a reasonable restaurant across the road.
