I booked for 2 people and we checked in at 11.30pm. The room was settled for 1 person, we had to call for towels and toothbrush and slippers for the swimming pool as well.
In the morning I was looking for charge my phone in the lobby and have a coffee in the meantime. The receptionist told me that there are no charges in common area. I went upstairs and had coffee in the room, again 1 only spoon that was even dirty.
This is not a 5 star hotel and definitely not a 5 star service.

Great spot close to Southbank, the botany garden and the Queen St shopping district.
Pros:

The pool area was relaxing and beautifully decked out. There was lots of fine details throughout the hotel.

Cons:

We had a double room for 4 people. We expected queen beds but they were doubles. There were only 2 pillows in each bed and not the luxury we paid for. Very disappointed with our room and will not go back for this reason.

Very clean, great location.

Cons:

I was put in a connecting room separated with a connecting door which was not sound proof. A family with a baby was put in the room next to me meaning I got very little sleep that night. Staff the next morning seemed superficially sympathetic only.
