Old building & furniture but clean, well situated; efficient staff; basic rooms but good value considering very affo
Pros:

Great location; efficient staff; some bathrooms with a bath. Small front restaurant terrace for meal and coffee.

Cons:

The mattress was uncomfortable (metal springs). Old style / ageing interiors, but clean.
Prices would, of course, be higher if renovated/modernised.

Great place to use as a base for going into the mountains

Very clean bigger room than I expected.

It was off season so very quiet and that attached cafe/ bar wasn’t open.

Pros:

La ubicación es inmejorable, en la avenida principal. Posee cafetería donde se desayuna muy bien y restaurante con buena comida. Además y a destacar la atención extraordinaria de la recepción y la asistenta de la habitación. Muy muy encima para que no falte detalle 😃

Supervriendelijk personeel
Pros:

Hotel Paraïso ligt lekker centraal aan de hoofdstraat. Het heeft heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel: toen ik bv. na aankomst ging vragen om 2 extra dekens, werden die meteen gebracht. Alles wordt goed schoongehouden. De kamer was ruim en de badkamer ook. De kamer had een lekker grote inbouwkast om je kleren in uit te hangen.

Cons:

Voor mijn zoon was het bed veel te kort en ook behoorlijk smal. (We hadden 2 1-persoonsbedden). Het hotel is een beetje vergane glorie. Je ziet dat het vroeger kwaliteit was en nu wat oubollig en ouderwets.
Onze kamer zat recht boven de ingang en boven het terras en in het weekend was dat behoorlijk lawaaierig, met luidruchtige mensen. We hadden wel een beetje een soort uitzicht op de bergen, maar er kwam erg veel geluid van de straat.

It was very comfortable,clean and warm for a short stay in February. Excellent location near free parking and the main bus stop. Breakfast was lovely at the attached cafe. A retro hotel but charming!
