I had a wonderful stay at Mystery Hotel Budapest and it genuinely felt like a hidden gem. My suite (Room 611) was exceptional—one of the best I’ve experienced—beautifully designed with a unique, immersive atmosphere. The staff were consistently kind, available and genuinely helpful, and the facilities throughout the hotel are outstanding. The Great Hall (where the restaurant is) is particularly memorable: elegant, atmospheric, and full of old-world character that truly takes you back in time. The location is also excellent—very convenient for the city centre. I grew up in Budapest but have lived abroad for more than 17 years, and it’s always a joy to discover places like this when I come back. Knowing that the building has historical ties to Hungarian Freemasonry only adds another layer of intrigue and charm to the already magical atmosphere

Sadly, having possessions stolen from our room doesn’t bode well so I’d have to say avoid.
Pros:

The property was clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly, the spa and gym area are small but nice. The location is pretty good for getting around the city

Cons:

Sadly, my girlfriend had her gold watch and a pair of gold earrings stolen from our room so for this reason I would have to say avoid this property.
