A lovely few days away.
Pros:

The staff were amazing - welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable with a gorgeous bathroom. All the food was delicious, whether that was breakfast, lunch or evening meal.

Cons:

Lack of parking facilities. We would have appreciated more info on parking generally, apart from being told there’s a public car park down the road. Are the short stay car parks nearby available for parking between 18:00 and 08:00 without payment? Could the hotel negotiate favourable rates for nearby parking overnight?
The reception area is small and cramped.

Clean high quality accommodation with excellent in house restaurant.
Pros:

Clean and fresh without overpowering cleaning scents. Super comfortable beds. Fresh milk for hot drinks in room.

Nice hotel but let down by food and service
Pros:

The room was nice and very nice large bathroom. Overall surroundings were nice and the bar and restaurant area and bedrooms are well furnished

Cons:

The noise and the heat in our bedroom. We were above the bar and it was noisy at night and it was very hot with room temp control doing nothing at all. Lamb was inedible and my husband sent back and only had that meal taken off the bill and had to pay for a replacement meal. No offer of anything like a coffee or drink or anything since it completely marred our experience. Expensive and not worth the money. Two scallops were £15
