Pros:

It is very special to be in such a historical, monumental place. The owner was very friendly. The french breakfast was really okay with classic music in the background.
The rooms are big and had a sixties vibe to them.
You can imagine a bit of life in the 18th century.

Cons:

Everything was okay but.......maybe a cup of coffee when we arrived:)))

Pros:

Historisch gebouw met speciale sfeer. Wel een beetje oude glorie, maar dat heeft zo z'n charme. Vriendelijke bediening.

Cons:

Het bijbehorende kasteel was zeer gehaverd en was niet mogelijk/veilig te bezoeken.

A éviter sans faute. 1 étoile maximum.
Pros:

Pas grand-chose. Un état de vétusté rarement observé ailleurs.
Rapport qualité prix en bas de la fourchette.

Cons:

Cet hôtel est a l'abandon complet.
Les photos de presentations du site sont celles des années 2000.
La plupart des avis précédents sont faux et complaisant.
Les règles élémentaires d'hygiène et de sécurité ne sont oas respectées.

Perfekt für eine Übernachtung
Pros:

Das etwas in die Jahre gekommene Hotel befindet sich im Park des Château de Bazeilles in einem Nebengebäude.
Der Hausherr kümmert sich allein um die Gäste und serviert ein gutes Frühstück. Der Park ist liebevoll gepflegt.

Irgendwie bezaubernd so nah bei Sedan.
Pros:

Der Charme vergangener Zeit liegt über dem benachbarten Schloß, das nach einem Kaminbrand nicht mehr bewohnt wird. Dafür ist man in den ehemaligen Stallungen untergebracht, die in den 70er Jahren zum Hotel tranferiert wurden. Der sympathische Schloßherr lebt und arbeitet hier mit seinen fast 80 Jahren und versorgt die wenigen Gäste. Es ist bezaubernd, in die Geschichte des Anwesens zu blicken und in der umfriedeten Garten/ Parkanlage mit Hund zu spazieren. Man findet die notwendige Ruhe nach langer Fahrt und gelegentlich hört man den Hausherrn am Klavier musizieren.
Wir haben es trotz der einfacher Logis in all seinem Renovierungsbedarf genossen. Dem ganzen Ensemble ist ein finanzkräftiger Investor zu wünschen. Als „monument historique „ ist es eh schon anerkannt.

Cons:

Wer Luxus und wellness sucht ist hier halt falsch.
Wir kommen aber gerne wieder.
