The elevator aas down when we checked our
Staff was very friendly.
Valet parking was easy.
Received water upon check-in.
The scent in the lobby, while nice initially, was overpowering. Very expensive for what we got. Restaurant wasn’t great. Front desk folks didn’t really know much about restaurants around the hotel, or specific activities…ie Dior exhibit.
Friendly front desk agent
I do not have any negatives
We enjoyed a short stay at this mid-level hotel located about 2-3 blocks away the Arts Center light-rail station and the High Art Museum. It proved to be convenient and well-located for our purposes (we needed to be in mid-town). The hotel seems to be well-run and the staff was friendly and efficient. (Special shout-out to Stacey at the front desk who tried her best to help us when we had a "left something in the Uber" mishap during our stay.)
Our king room was decently sized and equipped with all of the usual amenities, including a Nespresso coffee-maker (so great to see more American hotels going with a Nespresso-type coffee maker rathe than bleh Keurig or the old fashioned coffee filter-basket-type makers). The shower was a good size and delivered better than average water pressure.
Due to our Diamond Honors status, we got $15 each per day in food/beverage credit but this only went about half-way at the restaurant on the first floor. One comment about the availability of water through a dispenser connected to the ice maker on our (15th) floor: the water had a strong chlorine smell so we had to rely on bottled water, of which the staff was happy to provide extras.
Room was perfect, great mattress, outstanding water pressure, room cleaned daily, nespresso machine in room, elevators quick, front desk staff very nice. Plenty of space/storage. No loud noises, room nice and dark when curtains closed. I used their bikes a lot although older, loud orange, and only stays in 1st gear and chain sometimes comes off track when pedaling hard up hill. Would definitely stay here a lot.
