Normalerweise schreibe ich keine negativen Bewertungen, aber diesmal ist es notwendig.
Das Hotel ist charakteristisch, wenn auch mit veralteter Einrichtung. Bei der Ankunft wurde mir ohne Erklärung ein anderes Zimmer zugewiesen.
Das Problem entstand beim Check-out: Mir wurde eine Rechnung ausgestellt und man sagte mir, American Express „funktioniere in Deutschland nicht“, obwohl auf Booking angegeben ist, dass sie akzeptiert wird. Bei Überprüfung stellte ich fest, dass der Aufenthalt bereits über Booking bezahlt war. Bei Kartenzahlung wäre eine doppelte Abbuchung möglich gewesen.
Die Rechnung wurde mir anschließend wieder abgenommen und nicht ausgehändigt. Zudem wurden 7 € Kurtaxe verlangt – nur bar und ohne Wechselgeld. Die offizielle Kurtaxe in Heidelberg beträgt jedoch 3,50 €.
Wenig Transparenz und kein professionelles Verhalten. Sehr unangenehme Erfahrung.

Gemütliches Studio im Dachgeschoss mit Küche und Wasserkocher. Das Bett war super.

Das "Lamm" liegt für mich sehr günstig in Handschuhsheim, das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Das Bett war gut.

Cons:

Das Bad war recht sanierungsbedürftig. Der Fernseher hatte recht wenig Programme (z.B. fehlte das Erste).

Lovely old hotel; like an old coaching inn. Attractive restaurant, although we didn't eat there.
Very spacious room with terrace. Friendly staff.
Quiet location, lovely church opposite with very old frescoes.
Close to restaurants and a tram stop.

Cons:

Poor internet signal (at least in our room) as others have reported. Pity they don't do breakfast although there is a good bakery nearby.

Wenn alles funktioniert - TV, WLAN - für 1 Übernachtung im Winter OK.

Lage im Stadtteil. Gebäudeteile und das zweiteilige Restaurant mit sehr charmantem Aussehen und sympathischer Einrichtung. Sehr sauber.

Cons:

Beschreibung des reservierten Zimmers. Winzige Fensterluken nicht erwähnt. Auf den Fotos sind sie mit Vorhängen verhüllt. Zugang nur über Hofseite nicht erwähnt. TV funktionierte nicht. WLAN schwach. Nur ein Heizkörper im Winter zu schwach für das Zimmer, zudem ungünstig installiert zum Flur hin statt an Außenwand. Also blieb es recht kühl während meines Aufenthalts.

Für unsere Zwecke super. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut okay. Haben uns wohl gefühlt.
Pros:

Im Restaurant sehr gut gegessen. Wir haben die Suite gebucht für 5 Personen. Es hätte sogar Platz für 7 Personen gegeben. Die Kinder konnten sich also aussuchen wo sie schlafen. Das Bad hat kleinere Schönheitsfehler (Fließen falsch ausgeschnitten für die Armatur), aber guter Wasserdruck. Alles Altbau aber für unsere Zwecke (1 Übernachtung) super. Konnten direkt vor der Tür parken. Parkkarte kostet 5€.

Cons:

Check-in erfolgt an der Theke des Restaurants, also muss man etwas warten. War aber okay.
