The room and kitchen facilities were clean and tidy and as I would have expected. The staff were very friendly.
There was one blue badge disabled parking space outside the front door but often during the week. This was occupied by vehicles that did not display a blue badge meaning I had to park further away and walk on uneven pebble surface which is a trip Hazard for me as I walk with a stick due to chronic arthritis in my knees.
Whenever the unit attached to the ceiling above the bed was on, there was a irregular dripping sound and I could not work out how to turn this off.
Easy to get to , easy checkin , very clean and tidy. Went between christmas and new year for 2 nights so we were the only ones in the building i think didn't hear or see anyone else. I think it would be very full and busy with contractors in the warmer months but would still consider booking again
Clean facilities, great staff.
Internet connection is not great, disconects now and then.
Location was good, not far to the beach, which is, of course, windswept this time of year (autumn). Very quiet neighbourhood, no sound in the night. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped and well looked after: twice a day, even at the weekend, staff did all the clean-up and managed the dishwashers. Staff was super friendly and helpful - they're doing an amazing job keeping everything so clean and working. No problem to park the car - plenty spaces in the carpark.
From the advertisement, it wasn't so clear that there would not be a private kitchen. Instead, it's a shared kitchen with all the other guests in the house, which are mostly commuters and not there at the weekend. The big and comfy lounge is also a shared place, and the one person who switches the TV on and has the remote will determine what's on the screen. All bedrooms have their own TV, so no problem with that, it's just that reading a book or playing a boardgame in the lounge (bad reading light in the bedroom) wasn't really possible. On the other hand, if you like a chat, it's nice there and most folk are friendly and accessible.
Lounge and kitchen ok
Thin pillows, small cold room, small bed, unable to check in on arrival for about an hour, unable to contact somebody to help on arrival.
