Muy bien ubicado y la atención del personal muy buena. Las habitaciones creo que en el área de baño deberían tener más privacidad porque es un poco incómodo que el propio baño está unido a la habitación y a la regadera

La ubicación y la habitación muy cómoda

A very positive experience. I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The room was beautiful with comfy pillows and super comfy bed. Very clean and spacious with lovely toiletries. My room did overlook the roadway which for some might be a little noisy but it did not bother me. I ate breakfast in the restaurant and was very nice. Lovely friendly staff and a beautiful setting overlooking the beach club. I used the facilities at the beach club and they were good. The staff always on hand for drinks and food. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is around 10 minutes walk from the main Holbox centre. There is a dog refuge centre close by where you can take a dog for a walk which was rewarding as a dog lover !!

Perfect hotel and staff were amazing

I selfishly hate to give this one such a good review as we would love to keep it to ourselves lol. The room, the views, the beach and the location were all amazing. My only constructive criticism is the mattress quality - not your typical Marriott bed - I would expect more from a Marriott resort as my back killed me due to the poor mattress quality.

Nonetheless- During our week in Holbox - we were made to feel very much at home at The Mystique. I can’t say enough about how peaceful it was (despite some construction next door). The real star of the show however is the staff - particularly at the beach club - from morning until close each person at the beach club/Fresco restaurant made us feel very special and went out of their way to ensure our experience was a magical one. Thank you to everyone at Mystique for making our trip a lifelong memory we will cherish!

This is a well-presented hotel in a convenient location. We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis; however, we would not recommend this option, as the food selection was limited and the service was disappointing. Staff appeared slow, inconsistent, and at times unmotivated, with several seeming unfriendly when assistance was requested.

The beach club is relatively small, with sunbeds positioned very close together, and there were frequent interruptions from vendors throughout the day. The pool area is also compact and tends to be shaded, though it is well maintained and provides a pleasant place to cool down.

It is important to note that there is currently significant construction noise. While this is mentioned in the terms, the extent of the disruption is considerable. Between approximately 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., it is difficult to remain in the room due to the level of noise.

There are many excellent hotels on the island, and we found the customer service in the surrounding bars and restaurants to be notably better.

If you are a guest at this hotel, pay over $300 per night for a suite and
1. Spend over a hundred dollars at the beach bar on Thursday
2. Go back to the beach bar for breakfast and spend another 50 on Friday (which took over an hour btw)
3. Watch everyone around you bring food or buy food from beach vendors

But if you bring two beers down from your room you will be told no outside food and drink allowed and shown a sign

Do not come here if you expect to be treated as more than an ATM.

La Habitacion, el restaurn

The hotel is beautiful, right on the beach, and has a beach club where you can truly enjoy your stay. The staff are very attentive, paying attention to every little detail and making your stay memorable. The rooms are clean and spacious. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Holbox.

From the welcome drinks at check in to the amazing room, this was a great experience ! The room was fantastic ! Beach had lots of chairs and good service. The pools were clean amd the breakfast was tasty . It’s a little further down the beach than the action but still walkable to the main strip. Is resort style living on Holbox Island !

We had a really memorable stay at Mystique Holbox and left feeling genuinely cared for. The entire team was warm, friendly, and incredibly patient while I practiced my Spanish — they made it fun instead of intimidating. As someone coming in very overworked from healthcare life, I truly needed a peaceful reset, and the staff created a kind, welcoming environment that made that possible.

Rogerio, Lupita, and Fernando were standouts. Their attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism turned a good trip into a magical one. This trip was also an anniversary celebration with my partner, and they helped make it feel special with their thoughtful service and positive energy.

The only feedback I’d share is that I had noted in advance that we were celebrating our anniversary, so a quieter or upgraded room placement would have been appreciated — especially with the construction happening. I’m a light sleeper, and a heads-up or alternative room option would have made an already great stay perfect.

That said, the kindness and effort from the staff truly carried the experience. We felt welcomed, celebrated, and cared for, and we’re grateful to the team for making our anniversary trip memorable.
