Pros:

Refrigerator although it worked was old and rusty. The room could do with some upgrades but for the price it was ok. Hotel located nicely by ocean.

This hotel is such a hidden gem! It’s right by the ocean, and the restaurant is fantastic. For the price, the room condition is awesome—everything is clean and in perfect working order. The food is delicious, and the view of the ocean is simply breathtaking!

The staff is great. The room, could have been better. There were some holes in the wall by the bed that they could have patched up or at least painted. There is no elevator and we were on the top floor (3rd fl). Imagine having to climb all those stairs with luggage and a baby every day. There is no iron, no phone in the room to call the front desk if you need something. If you need to iron you have to take your clothes down to the laundry room if you don't want to be wrinkled. One night it was dark and I saw something crawling on the floor. I stepped on it with my slipper and it was a ROACH! When I went to report it, the girl at the front desk asked me if it was just one roach. Are you kidding me??? There should not have been one in the room to begin with!!! Then the shower was dripping and the water pressure wasn't that great. I did report and they did fix the dripping. Also, they do have a pool but the pool is located in an awkward area, right next to the dining area. And it's not closed off so someone can easily accidently fall in. They should probably close it off or relocate it. Who wants to be in the pool when a bunch of people are eating all around them? Maybe it's just me. Although the view is amazing, and the staff is friendly, I would not stay again. The only reason I stayed there is because I have family that isn't too far away.

Pros:

Our room was charming, clean and most comfortable. Our room look out on to the ocean - we could hear the waves at night which was so nice.
Staff were wonderful and a nice breakfast. The restaurant looks out on the ocean - so nice. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

The restaurant was delicious and should be visited wherever you are staying. The hotel is not appropriate for foreign tourists (no towels for pool, only cold water faucet for bathroom sink, poor repair and dirty building. Staff is lovely and location looks out on dramatic ocean surf.

Stayed here over Christmas for my 40th birthday and have nothing but good things to say about them. The place was clean and beautiful and the food at the Restaurante Cocorri was phenomenal.

But the most memorable part was the way they treated me when I got hurt. I tripped walking up the step and dislocated my pinky. Jeremy (I believe is the manager) drove me to the hospital himself, AND gave me cash for a ride back. ¡Excelentes hospitalidades!

Everyone welcomed me with open arms. Very attentive and helped me with anything I needed. Security called the cab and was rdy for me @530am. All around one of the best experiences I’ve had. Thank you all for a wonderful experience. Will see you all next year for sure. Pura Vida
