Sedona Suites Ho Chi Minh City

My friends and I chose this hotel due to its central location and family friendly atmosphere. This is a high rise, modern hotel attached to a mall. The mall made it easy for us to buy last minute gifts etc. Across from the hotel there is market for souvenirs etc. It was also possible to walk to the Opera House and Ben Thanh Market.
The hotel has some lovely views of the river and at night the city looked pretty spectacular. There is lovely swimming pool and a Michelin starred Japanese restaurant on site.
The rooms are adequate and could be better planned in some ways. For example there are no wall mirrors in the bedroom. The only mirror is on the inside door of a wardrobe. Tricky to get to as there is a bed in the way. The lighting was a bit complicated as one couldn't easily work out how to leave the bathroom light on and switch of the rest at bedtime.
We did however appreciate the tea/coffee making facilities along with the refrigerator and microwave. It was also lovely to have complimentary beverages and snacks on arrival. The iron and ironing board proved most handy.
Room service was hit and miss. Despite indicating we wanted the room cleaned it didn't happen. On the other hand service at breakfast and in the bar in the evening was exemplary. Dung, aka, Jenny and Quy , aka Iron man Max, were warm, welcoming and efficient.
The management of the hotel do need to bear a couple of things in mind.
Firstly if at breakfast time the hotel placed cheese on a separate platter and not with cold meats, vegetarians would appreciate it. Else the choices for vegetarian foods is rather limited.
Secondly, the hotel needs to train its reception staff to distinguish between the different kind of credit cards being issued in other countries nowadays. The gentleman checking us in was confused by the credit that we had used to pay the hotel prior to our arrival. The hotel had taken the full amount of our 4 night stay but when presented with the right card to authenticate the amount he got terribly muddled up. He couldn't see the account number on the card so wouldn't accept evidence on the card holders phone to show it was all genuine and above board. It all ended with us having to pay slightly more for our stay due to currency fluctuations.

The service was absolutely outstanding! Shout out to the Iron Turtle (Max) who went above and beyond for us, including arranging a lovely surprise for my mother’s birthday.
We will definitely be back.

Our family recently spent 9 days at Sedona Suites in Ho Chi Minh City, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome—everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort.
We stayed in a two-bedroom suite as a family of five, and the space was more than sufficient. The layout was thoughtfully designed, giving everyone room to relax without ever feeling crowded.
Breakfast each morning was a highlight—great variety, pleasant atmosphere, and consistently excellent service. A special shoutout to Max, who made sure we started every day happy and well-fed (and often with a smile and a laugh 😂).
Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, space, and truly outstanding hospitality.

A wonderful and refreshing stay in the heart of district one ! Very spacious apartment and very well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful

The comfortable beds and the spacious living room and kitchen area . Also great there was a washing machine . Great views of the city from the bedrooms and living room . Close to shops.Great pool area

Beautiful hotel with nice staff. Max was great wait staff who was very attentive and made great recommendations. The room was spacious and clean.
