Poor service, good facilities, not value for money
Pros:

The room and facilities were great, especially access to a fully equipped commercial gym in a shopping mall. But the staff service attitude is poor. Of my interactions with so many of them over 4 days, only 2 in the restaurant were good. The rest were like reluctant to help. No smiles from almost every staff. This is so different from my experience staying in Classyc Hotel in Hanoi. They should seriously benchmark Classyc for service excellence

Excellent stay in a very well appointed suite hotel in a convenient city centre location
Pros:

Great choice at breakfast, including some gluten free rolls (although these were not labelled as GF and I was only made aware of them when asking if there was any GF breads). The suite was huge and very well laid out; we had wanted the washing machine in order to launder our clothes conveniently during our long trip. Free washing detergent was provided and replaced when requested, which was helpful. We liked the swimming pool and the fact that drinks and food were available there also. It was great to be sited on top of the brilliant Sedona Centre shopping mall which meant we had many choices of restaurants very near us as well as shopping of all types.

A lovely experience at the Straits. Max is outstanding! He is quick and efficient. We enjoy our stay and dining experience. As a Vegan, he made sure I was taken care of! Kudos to Max!

Pros:

Great hotel, clean and very well located. The service was excellent, Iron Turtle (Max) was amazing, always looking after us so we had everything we needed. I will come next time in HCM.
