Pros:

The meals were amazing, very traditional and beautiful. The view from the room was outstanding, and it was a pleasure to stay there. We were on the way of Shimanami Kaido, and indeed the last bit is very challenging (I just walked my bike), but the views are worth it.

Nice and clean. The public bath was really good. The views were amazing, if you go by car don’t worry about the location. But if you go by bike, be aware of the climb up.

Die Hotelanlage ist insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen, kompensiert dies aber mit einer spektakulären Lage auf einem Berg (Achtung: Anreise per Auto oder E-Bike empfehlenswert!). Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich, das Essen gut und reichhaltig. Wir waren begeistert.

Cons:

Die Vorab-Auswahl des Abendessens beim Check-in war etwas irritierend, das Abendessen selbst aber sehr gut.

Wish I could have stayed longer to try more dinner options!!
Pros:

The room was quite spacious, the view was wonderful and I appreciated the hotel shuttle service picking me and my bike up!! That hill would have killed me. The dinner and breakfast were amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

Cons:

A little dated, but the service and food were so superior, who cares

The Staff were really helpful, and the facilities were good! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and view!

Keep in mind if you are staying here after a bike ride, it is at the top of a very big hill 😆
