Hospitality at its best
Pros:

Excellent. Peaceful and relaxing stay. Fabulous breakfast. Staff very welcoming, with a nod to hospitality from a bygone age. Difficult to think of anything negative. Superb 3 Star hotel, delivers what it advertises.

Pros:

Le maître d'hôtel Néel et le personnel sont exceptionnels de gentillesse et de professionnalisme ! Néel est un vrai personnage de théâtre et en même temps un professionnel avisé, rien ne lui échappe ! Dîner et Petit déjeuner PANTAGRUÉLIQUE !! Vous serez obligé de dire non aux sollicitations du personnel !!

Cons:

Rester une seule journée car road trip dans le Devon sud ! On reviendra pour un séjour plus long dans cet hôtel !!

Relaxing escape
Pros:

All of the staff were amazing & very welcoming,couldn't do enough for us.
Food fantastic good prices & big portions excellent value for money. The room was excellent too very clean & comfortable.
Was lovely to totally relax as we had beautiful views & just a little walk to the beach. If your looking for a quiet, relaxing place I would highly recommend. We are already to book again.

Pros:

Very lovely, friendly staff. All are extremely polite, welcoming and helpful.
Shout out for Mike, for going the extra mile.
Comfortable room. Excellent views. Plenty of food options and nothing too much trouble (I tested out the breakfast chef on that one).
All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Excellent views. Attention to detail and customer service is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is soooo good part buffet with some service options. Dogs welcomed without intruding on others. Just exceptional

Would have liked to eat of menu but prefer à la carte rather than 3 course option

Very pleasant and hospitable venue.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. Good to see black pudding on the menu. The hotel had spacious public areas and a reassuring atmosphere- it seemed really long-established and skilled at hosting guests.

Cons:

There was an annoying sound of an extractor fan in an adjacent room. I presume the occupants left the bathroom light on. I complained about it twice.

Best views in the cove
Pros:

View from the balcony was stunning. Tea and coffee facilities in the room (although coffee was awful). Decent hairdryer and lots of mirrors. Great terrace for a beer /wine with a panoramic vista.

Cons:

Zero soundproofing between rooms - we could hear every word our neighbours said, including their snoring at night!
