De sfeer, de gebouwen, de rust in de avond, de natuur om het stadje heen.

Pros:

Het hotel gelegen in het pittoreske Bourtange, de hotelkamer was mooi groot met een ruime badkamer, prima bedden, goed ontbijt verzorgd door een hele aardige dame met kleding uit de napoleontische tijd, je voelde je in de herberg en in het plaatsje even terug in de tijd.

Alleen de tv waar we niet npo 1,2,3 op konden ontvangen, misschien iets verkeerd gedaan?

The atmosphere of staying inside the old fortress in renovated officer's quarters was wonderful. The breakfast was very good, with lots to choose from. Very clean room. Professional, friendly and helpful staff.
