Pros:

We had a Japanese style room, it had lots of space, comfy beds with an optional tatami bed you could build, the staff was extremely helpful and polite!

Pros:

Das Apartment war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet – mit Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank und Tiefkühler war alles vorhanden, was man braucht.

Besonders ideal ist es, wenn man mit einem Baby reist: Auf Anfrage werden praktische Dinge wie ein Windeleimer und weitere Babyartikel zur Verfügung gestellt.

Die Lage ist ebenfalls hervorragend – in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einem Bahnhof und umgeben von zahlreichen Restaurants sowie Convenience Stores.

Absolut empfehlenswert für Familien!

Not central, lacks the fun factor. Not worth the cost.
Pros:

It’s a decent hotel, has basic amenities but doesn’t have any communal areas and the location is very remote.

Cons:

Very basic, location is not central as described. If this is your first time in Kyoto, highly recommend looking into
more central options with more amenities and a
more lively environment. This hotel has no vibe. It feels more like an apartment building in a remote area than an actual hotel.

Nice rooms but a bit of a walk to the subway
Pros:

Nice big rooms, comfortable, very clean and friendly staff. Great activities for kids. Great selection of things to borrow.

Cons:

Not the easiest for connection to public transport.

Although there was natural light, the windows were frosted and did not open so no fresh air and no ability to see outside e.g what the weather was doing.

Pros:

The location was fabulous - pretty close to a lot of different things like restaurants and activities. Big room for a family of 4. Staff was wonderful. We have stayed in a Mimaru before and this was also exceptional.

Will not look for any other place when in Kyoto again!
Pros:

Great property. Very clean and well maintained. Extremely helpful staff. Used the kitchenette for 3 days. It was perfect! Great location as well.
