Phuong Nam Resort

Very quiet property, day spa,only 30 mins from Ho Chi Minh City the only downfall was a limited breakfast selection

We wanted a stay away from the crowds in Saigon. This was perfect. The resort has a lot of options for dining and activities. They had a nice spa and 2 pools as well as a lake. They have ancient trees that give ambience and a real authentic Vietnamese feel. They grow their own food in greenhouse and everything is delicious

This property is an oasis of relaxation outside of the hustle of Ho Chi Minh City. I have mobility issues and the resort supplied a room to suit and everytime we went to go to breakfast there was a buggy literally waiting every morning to take me .the staff are very friendly even though for most of them their english was very limited they still made sure I/we were looked after . The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous with two pools l, spa , restaurant and pool and tennis tables to use. We booked the Phuong nam rather than a hotel in the city more for the quiet days on our trip and we are so glad we did because when you are on the resort it feels like you are in the middle of the countryside . The taxi/grab ride into the city was approx 30 mins every day and very affordable especially using grab .This was the first time we have visited Vietnam and the Phuong nam resort was the perfect place for us .

But very nice hotel - quiet / breakfast very nice many choice - that why reason we came back many times

Perfect place for our family to land for first few days and start our months in Vietnam

We visited the resort with family and we had amazing experience with our stay. Massage and spa is also very nice and highlY recommended

Fantastic setting - with hundreds of koi fish in their ponds. Great selection of exotic foods.

Excellent service great resort a lot of options fishing, free breakfast old ancient trees excellent food, very relaxing atmosphere

What is a Very good Vietnamese style resort !

Hoteller ligger langt uden for selve HMC, men der er virkelig flotte omgivelser. Skønne hytter og smukke haver. Kan anbefaler hvis man gerne vil bomstille og roligt uden for byen

Beautiful property

We were at this resort 3 times but this time was disappointed. The room was outdated, we had to change to new room due to mold smell. The water heater was old type for house, not for commercial building; water wasn’t hot enough and got cold quickly. Food was good, people work there friendly. The employee helped us to move the luggages by walking instead of use their golf cart that was weird to us. The pond water was greenish and had smell. The sightseeing was reduced from last time we visited, they built more buildings. This resort may be good for local customers but not foreigners, they need to upgrade or remodel the rooms and better service for international customers. We won’t be back except they will remodel their rooms.

We booked 3 nite then go to other town come back stay 2 more nite - 5 nite total
First 3 nite really nice
We check in super late fly delay 3 am
They gave us single bungalow nice and quiet - bath tub drain not run well - after shower water keep 1/4 of the tub
When we came back stay 2 more nite -staffs check in us room much smaller - share wall with other room - we can hear every thing other room - staffs told us cam upgrade room cost $35 more - but we already paid exactly same price as first 3 nite
They not as friendly like they do first time we check in
Hotel not many guess but restaurant very busy - music - karaoke very noisy - resort beautiful - they should train staffs do better job

Old trees and walkways around property were well thought out.
Same with layout and design.very relaxing

No one spoke English. Very hard to communicate. Overcharged on bill at end of stay and did not fix at time of query, would not supply account, and when emailed asking for account on 2 occasions did not reply to emails

Tosi siisti mesta, hiljainen, upea puutarha ja altaat. Ei uskoisi, että tämmöinen voi löytyä Saigonista. Sopii loistavasti pariksi päiväksi rentoon oleiluun. Hotellin ympäristössä ei käytännössä ole yhtään mitään, vain paikallisten härdelliä. Menisinkö uudelleen, mahdollisesti jos osuu kohdalle, enkä halua olla Saigonin keskustassa.

The resort is wonderfully well taken care of. The greenery is impressive and the decor reflects the old, traditional Vietnam. The food is also very good, and the rooms are well mantained and properly cleaned.
