Cross Hotel Kyoto

Clean very clean, good staff and perfect location for Kyoto area.

Excellent location! The rooms were spacious for typical Japanese rooms, very nice and offered pajamas. Our luggage did not arrive from previous hotel in the time frame stated by shipping company and the staff at Cross were very helpful in tracking it down and getting to us before our check out on last day. Highly recommend getting the breakfast add on, so many options and excellent food. 5 stars all around.

Very convenient location

This was hotel 2 of 4 hotels during our stay and was hands down our favourite. The location is really fantastic - walking distance to the restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and spacious for Japan. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was great. We loved Kyoto all in all and this hotel definitely contributed to that experience. We would 100% stay here again. The lobby has a beautiful sitting area where you can relax with a coffee and watch all the activity out on the street.

Superb hotel. Beds were comfortable, suite was spacious and immaculately clean, bathroom was well laid out and modern. Best hotel I’ve stayed in recently.

The staff were very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The only negative was they didn’t have onsite laundry facilities.

This hotel was in a perfect location - lots to see and do - accessible. The room was a great size and our family (2A - 2C) were all able to have a proper bed and still have space in the room. We had self check in which we weren’t overly fussed about - we really like dealing with people not computers.

Great hotel

This place was great. It was roomy, the bed was comfortable, the tub was a godsend to soak in after all the walking. It was close to the train station and the breakfast was yummy. Would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

Amazing location, clean room, everything you need nearby and more. Slight walk for transport, but still very close. Would definitely recommend staying here in Kyoto.

Clean and spacious room (by Japanese/Tokyo standards) in a very good hotel. Hotel is centrally located with many food options nearby and nearby metro and bus stations. Our room was very quiet despite being in the center of night life. We had a wonderful 5 day stay and we would be happy to return to this hotel next time in Kyoto.

The only downside was that the breakfast menu remained unchanged for the 6 days that we were there and therefore became extremely monotonous

excellent service and location. Very clean rooms, staff were exceptionally helpful even when faced with challenging situations. They were persistent in ensuring we got the assistance we needed. Walk-able to the best shopping and restaurants. We plan to return! Thank you for a great stay.

The hotel has that luxury vibe for a 3 star which was quite the surprise. The rooms were spacious and clean. Beds and pillow were comfy. Bathroom had a shower and tub, has a separate toilet as well. I also love how easily walkable everything is from the hotel. You won’t have trouble finding any shops and restaurants at all. It’s very close to a station which is so convenient. I appreciated how nice and helpful the staff were. Would love to come back again!
