Pros:

We enjoyed our stay in Dachang Hotel I Kunming. The staff was very nice and even that they did not know much English or Spanish, we communicated nicely.
Close to the hotel we found various good restaurants It was our last night in China and we had a good time.

Pros:

Perfect stay for an early flight. The room was clean and comfortable with great amenities. They provided a drinking water tap in the room which was the only time we’ve had this in china, very convenient. The bed was quite hard but that’s been quite common in china and it wasn’t a problem. There were a few very cheap restaurants in the nearby area for dinner.
They provided a airport shuttle for us at 5 am and even made us a packed breakfast.
We were very happy with this hotel. There really isn’t anything in this area though its so far from the city so only stay here if you have an early flight!

hotel near airport, not close to city, restaurants, transportation, metro or sights. free airport shuttle was good.

Not good advertising
Pros:

This is a horrible advertisement for this property. The location on the map shows that is only a couple of blocks from the south railway station in Kunming. That is a lie!! The location is 50 minutes away! Not an ideal place to stay when you have a 7:50am train to catch!
