With some updating and more attention to cleanliness , this could be a really nice hotel.

I liked how close it was to the interstate. It was easy to access. I liked the size of the room.

Cons:

The hotel is outdated. The room and the hallway were not clean. There was cookies or some type of food that had been crumbled and smashed in the hallway a few doors down from us. The crumbles were all up and down the hallway for two days. It wasn't cleaned up Our room happened to have an oven in it. The oven was very dirty. There were not a lot of options at breakfast compared to other Townplace Suites that I have stayed at before.

Nice clean hotel with good service

I recently stayed at the TownePlace in Saraland for a week on business. I usually stay downtown Mobile, but this was closer to the facility at which I was working. The room was clean. The service was really top notch at the front desk (Thanks, JoLisa!).

The free breakfast is what you would expect, not the best quality of offerings, but it is free. The only real drawback that I found is that there seems to be insufficient parking for the facility. If you come in late in the evening there isn't much parking available.

If you are staying for any length of time in this area, I would highly recommend it. I used to stay at a competitive chain hotel across the road, but the decline in service made me look elsewhere for accommodations.

Not happy this time

Previously very satisfied. This stay not so much. We were consistently told that the location was understaffed. Our refrigerator didn’t work and some of our groceries spoiled. By the third day, we finally got another refrigerator in the room. There was not enough towels. We washed our own towels and reused them. I think most of all the morning that we were checking out there was a staff meeting going on and I heard the supervisor tell the staff in attendance, please make sure that everything that they need is readily available because we don’t want to lose the contract with this company. Wowww!!!!! I will never be back to this hotel again.
