Pros:

Christal (bartender)and Christine (front desk) were phenomenal. Remembered me every day and continued to check if we needed anything at all. Very personable and happy.

Cons:

Valet required and you can't get your own car or park it. Traffic was always backed up so we always felt rushed to get in and out.

Cons:

The front desk did not tell us when breakfast ended, so we didn’t get the first day’s stay “free breakfast.” I travel extensively and almost never had a breakfast ended at 9:00. Especially with not even coffee, bakery items and fruit for the 9-11 crowd. Afterall, checkout is at Noon!

Cons:

I didn't like that I had to pay for valet parking because they didn't have close parking for handicap and when I ask about it, I was told that there was parking on the street.

Hyatt's Hidden Gem
Pros:

Believe it or not, my work accidentally booked my stay at this Hyatt location rather than the Regency location on Main St. Now that I have stayed at both Hyatt locations downtown I have to say that I was much more pleased with this location. For one, it is quietly nestled on a side street away from the noise and hustle and bustle of downtown.

We did have a minor issue with our room but hotel staff took excellent care of use promptly. The first room we stayed in was a bit warm and we were unable to adjust the thermostat as it was "locked". The room we were moved was perfect.

I am one who usually strays away from valet service but I will note that due to surrounding parking limitations I opted to use their valet service. I did feel it was a tad steep @ $25 a day but I really enjoyed the convenience; it was really quite nice. As we would leave the room we would request our vehicle through their website/app and by the time we made it to the front it was waiting for us.

Every expectation we had hoped for during our stay was met and we left highly satisfied.

9.5/10 - Highly Recommend, will stay again!
