Amazing location, difficult to walk too so boat is best option unless you like hiking/climbing with your bags. Gorgeous beach very chilled

Vi uppskattade framförallt stämningen på detta ställe! Väldigt laid back, många backpackers och klättrare, och väldigt härliga locals. Bra musik, mysig atmosfär och extra mysigt med katterna som bodde där. Bra restaurang också, både det på hostellet och de runt omkring. Det vi kunde önskat var lite mer komfort i rummen, sängarna var i det hårdaste laget och det var lite tufft att ha så begränsat med elektricitet, dvs ingen fläkt på dagtid osv.. rummen är väldigt spartanska så var beredd på det. Men för det billiga priset är det ju väntat. 🙂 älskade för övrigt området!

If you arriving by long tail boat.. ask them to drop you on west side of beach. Path from there is cement. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It is worth bringing towel and cotton sleep bag. And buy a big bottle of water in case supply is switched off

The location was incredible, lush jungle setting, with a real back to basics feel.
The bungalow itself was tired and needs a refresh to be good.
The staff were super laid back and friendly, like the whole bay area. If you want matching bed linen, hot water, fridge, toiletries and all that, this is not the place for you.
But if you want a chilled out jungle vibe with loads of local bars and places to eat with like minded people, most of whom love climbing or the locals that like playing their guitars and having a good old sing song (before the electric comes) this is deffo the place to be.
We wished we could have stayed longer and would come back in a heart beat.
Wats bar a 5 min walk is a good place to hang out and waste a day drinking, staff are unbelievably funny and the beers are cold.

Simple yet comfortable bungalow. Lovely staff, bar and surrounds. So nice being in the jungle. We loved it and would definitely stay again!

It was terrible, we had a bungalow for 2 persons and the bed was like a wood. The sheets had not been clean clearly since the first time they where there. I go usally to hippie vibe places but this one is just not worth it. There is no electricity between 6 am to 6 pm. No hot shower, and the bathroom were relly durty.
No recomend if you are a climber and you want good sleep to climb

Habitaciones muy sucias el agua salía sin presión casi imposible ducharse y sumando a que no había electricidad de 6am a 6 pm todo un caos en la habitación llena de insectos

If you can handle a simple place .. bc you are out climbing or exploring .. perfect place for you . Electricity from 6 pm to 6 am .. friendly people .. not much tourist . Just climbers and hippies . The restaurant next door ist awesome ... lots of Natur . Monkeys .. birds .. and and and in the area
