Schönes Hotel nahe am Bahnhof und nur 10 Minuten Fussweg zur Festung
Pros:

Sehr ordentliches Hotel nichts zu beklagen. Gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir hatten dazu noch ein Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk mit toller Aussicht auf die Festung. Absolut empfehlenswert

Perfect base near train station and Himeji castle and gardens
Pros:

Good location- easy walk to station (5mins). Also easy walk to Himeji castle and gardens (15/20 mins) - wonderful sites to visit. Also huge choice of restaurants nearby. Covered walk ways for a lot of the walks - useful in heat or rain!
Hotel was spotless. Staff welcoming and professional - thanks for speaking English. All very good. Comfortable nights sleep. Perfect base for our all too brief trip to Himeji. Thanks

Feel like home in Himeji
Pros:

The location and we are repeat guests staying at the hotel every time when we are travening to Himeji.

Cons:

We booked 3 rooms with breakfast but the place is too small and too crowded to wait for the breakfast so all of us missed it.
