As elderly guesrs the stairs were a problem and no grab rail in shower

Slept well in a very comfortable bed. Was a quiet location on the (Thursday) night we stayed.
Ensuite bathroom space a little cramped, sufficient for a 1-night stay.
Joshua was a great host, all the staff were great. Lovely food for dinner and breakfast in a great surroundings with large garden.
Located in a small rural village in the heart of the new forest. Obviously frequented by locals as well as tourists, it was a ‘proper pub’.
It’s obviously an old historic building so isn’t shiny and new but that was what we expected and it was comfortable and we were happy there.

Very small bathroom but I knew that when I booked. I skipped breakfast as it didn’t start until 8.30am which was too late for me.
A nice little pub in the heart of the new forest. Small but clean room with everything you need. Amazing breakfast. I was worried it was going to be noisy as a pub but it was fine.
Very small sink to wash in and could do with a new shower head. Also kept hitting my leg on the sticking out wood frame

I was a single traveller, my room was very small, just enough room to move around the bed. The hand basin in the tiny en-suite was minute
Nice location with animals wandering freely everywhere which is great. Good pub and some lovely locals. Very comfortable room.
In the comfortable room, there wasn't any soundproofing from the bar below, which was noisy despite being not very busy. Could do with privacy blinds so don't have to pull curtains. No lighting at the desk didn't help much.
We turned up early ordered drinks and lunch from the bar. The Staff were so accommodating!! just on the off chance we asked if our room was ready and they didnt mind at all we was shown to our room which was clean roomy and comfortable!! Jack and Josh were amazing and we could tell along with the Chef how hard they work and the hours they worked!! just lovely lads and made our stay perfect! we will be returning next year. Downside was beans at breakfast to much garlic just leave the beans alone. however food was good.

Pleasantly situated in the picturesque village of Minstead. Friendly staff and good food in the pub, including supper and breakfast. Room comfortable and clean. Good place from which to explore the forest.
Clothes hook on bathroom very loose but hardly a significant problem :)
This was a last minute booking and we weren’t disappointed. Chris did a great job checking us in and at breakfast the next morning. The room was comfortable though the bathroom was on the small side. Breakfast was very tasty with good quality ingredients. Nice walk around the village.
