An excellent stay in a good old-fashioned hotel . Shame we couldn't stay longer!

Great family-run hotel, excellent value, highly recommended.
Pros:

A large ground floor bedroom with french window leading straight into the garden was perfect. A good sized bathroom with a bath (shower in the bath), good water pressure and up to date fittings, all spotless. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. Large grass areas for walking dog first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Delicious cooked breakfast and all great value.
Lovely beach at Great Yarmouth (dogs allowed throughout Summer) and excellent beach café. Very good facilities and places to visit. The Swan at Barnby (Beccles) was excellent for our evening meal.

Nice bed, good food just a shame about the cold shower and faint lip stick coffee mug. But overall good breakfast and go

Staff were incredibly friendly, bed was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was clean.

Cons:

There was a hot water issue for the showers with our block, the coffee mug at breakfast had a faint lipstick mark and there was a kids football match on the grounds in the day before.

Im Grünen gelegen eine kleine Oase. Sehr grosses Zimmer, welches nichts zu wünschen übrig lässt. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich und hat mir ein Taxi organisiert.

Cons:

Leider zu Fuss nur über eine stark befahrene Strasse ohne Trottoir zu erreichen, so dass man entweder per Auto oder mit einem Taxi anreisen muss.

A very welcoming hotel, informal but professional
Relaxed & extremely dog friendly environment, the delicious breakfast was served in the bar for those with dogs allowing those without to enjoy the main breakfast room without dogs.

Cons:

The bathroom in Room 1 was very clean and perfectly adequate although small. However the water pressure for the shower was so low it was not really acceptable. I did report this to reception upon checkout and they were going to get the maintenance team who returned on Monday to check this out.
