No directions to the lift
Pros:

Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Good decor & atmosphere.

Cons:

It would be helpful to have signs to lead you back to the lift. My room was at the end of a maze of stairs and fire doors, finding the way back to the lift would have been easier if a door at the top of the staircase had a notice saying "this way to the lift"!

It met our needs. It was warm, comfortable and the food was fine.
Pros:

Breakfast was a standard continental & cooked. It was all buffet service. The food was acceptable but maybe left standing on the warming pates too long. They seemed to need another member of staff to help guests.

Cons:

They staff could have been a little friendlier. They were not bad, and did their jobs efficiently. But at times it felt like the guests were a burden somehow. The man at reception was particularly 'dry'.

Winter break in Nottingham
Pros:

Staff friendly , food very good ,Room was clean with tea / coffee facility , it has the added advantage of having good leisure facilities - pool ,jacuzzi& sauna .

Cons:

We had booked a small double room but realised it was not suitable for us . We contacted reception staff who swiftly provided us with an alternative and adjusted the cost .The alternative was a huge spacious room which we were very happy with.

Really liked it at the Beeches. I wouldn't hesitate to book a again.
Pros:

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. Considering a branded hotel for 1 night, room only was £43 less than staying here for 2 nights, with use of a gym, pool, jacuzzi and sauna!! All of which I used on both days.
The hotel is kept to a great standard, and very clean. Plenty of parking. Also a lift, which was a god send.
Absolutely made my day finding a fan in the closet, as I struggle to sleep without one.
The duvet was a feather one too, bedding was clean, and good pillows.

Cons:

The size of our room, with it being on the top floor, felt quite cramped due to it being a dormer room.
The bed was too soft for me personally, as I am recovering from a back injury. But that's a small negative.
The breakfast was sold to us as a buffet one, including the hot food, which sounded perfect as we required carb free, but in the morning we were told with it being quiet, we would have to order hot food. Which is understandable, but the chef clearly didn't follow the waitresses order as my plate arrived with everything I said I specifically said I didn't want on it.
If your eating a normal diet, the breakfast would have been brilliant. Plenty of cereal, bread for toast, fruit juice, tea coffee etc. I would say this was the only negative that could have been avoided.

Good for overnight stay after football but room requests not fulfilled.
Pros:

Breakfast was great and staff were nice. Rooms were good size.

Cons:

Requested rooms next door to each other when booking (like advised to last time we stayed and were placed on different floors). Asked why they weren't next to each other and told they were. There was literally another room, a door and a flight of stairs between our rooms. They said the other room was accessible and not available unless requested so these were classed as next too each other. Genuinely don't know why no matter how many times we ask, they always put the rooms away from each other. Also lots of noise from the door to the stairwell next to me from about 6am.

Not the best hotel stay
Pros:

The bedroom was nice

Cons:

There was a drainage smell on arrival in the reception area. Which was throughout the hotel. The room was absolutely boiling and we had turned off the wall heater and towel rail. We opened the window but could hear the generator outside all night. We didn’t sleep well at all and disappointed in our stay.
