Poor accommodation and very overpriced
Pros:

I am very surprised with the rating of this establishment. We had trouble finding it as it looks nothing like the main picture on hotel.com which more like the town hall than the hotel. We arrived at 7.30 only to be told the kitchen closed at 8.00. This is very unusual as most Spanish restaurants only open about 8. I booked a double room with additional single bed and we were given smallish room containing two singles. In the restaurant, we were given a choice of pork chicken or hamburger for dinner and had to eat it quickly. The town is only one street so there is nothing else to do other than sit in a deserted bar or go to our room.

The walls were paper thin and we were awoken at 5.00 am by people having a shower and slamming doors. This continued for the next two hours. We got dressed and paid our bill of €79 which, in my opinion was very high for a very basic one star hotel, which was no more that rooms over a bar, and a mediocre meal. This compared with €80 for an excellent four star hotel In Toledo where we stayed the previous night. Sorry but we won’t be back.

Hotel Redecilla del Camino is a wonderful rural oasis in a small, friendly pueblo. Hotel Redecilla was an unexpectedly good rural hotel experience. The staff are warm, welcoming, and customer focused staff. Our room was very clean and well-maintained. The food, especially dinner, was very highly quality and generous. The bar service excellent. In summary, one of our best stays along the Camino.
