family trip to Guruvayoor
Pros:

A very good place to spend the night.
Near Guruvayoor temple, walking distance.
good service and neat rooms.
Rate is affordable, and it is worth the value.
lots of rooms but recommend pre booking because the rooms will be very hard to get especially evening because people arive timing the Guruvayoor temple.

Best Hotel near to temple
Pros:

Checked in at 1pm with family for 1 A/C room, The rooms were quite spacious and neat and placed exactly 190m from temple west entrance. The hotel has a restaurant in same complex and provides decent vegetarian food Booked through MMT.

Tourist Hotel
Pros:

The hotel which is conviniently located near to bus stand and walkable distance to the Temple made us choose this. The rooms are big but with only basic amenities were provoided. There is a restaurant on the ground floor. It has limited staff to attend to ones need. Over all it was ok for a quick stay and feel the pricing a bit more for two people.

Close to the temple
Pros:

Very close to temple, railway station and bus stand. Restaurant is good with veg food. We opted for 4 bed a/c. The room has just one bathroom and that was dampener. Else it's plus for comfortable stay and temple visit

Not a great place to stay
Pros:

THe room conditions were pathetic. Not worth the price paid. Service was also not up to the mark. Will not book here again. Only advantage was the access

Worst Hotel given by MMT
Pros:

The worst experienced hotel in my life, checked in at 11pm, the room given was smelly, with itching blankets, no internet working, intercom wasnt working, booked room was deluxe, but not provided deluxe room, or so it seemed. Even for a Glass of water or towel, one had to go to the reception far away since no intercom was working , when inquired was told intercom spoiled during recent Kerala floods, lo behold the room alloted was ground floor, which was recently flooded, with very bad smell & pests with a possibility of catching some flood related infection. After complaining to MMT, was given another room, which again had no intercom, when asked was told jone of the intercom is working in the hotel. Apparently, for evsrything one had to go to the Reception walking aeound 100 mtrs taking the stairs, even for water or towel. talking of towel, only 1 towel provided though the booking was for 3, the bed was so small it would hardly accomodate 2 people. Simply scamming from MMT. Have learnt my lesson, will never book hotel through MMT.

Superb Location, neat and clean room value for money
Pros:

We stayed there for just one day and it was very conferrable. Checking process was very smooth and quick. They have sufficient parking space in hotel premises itself. We have got ground level room and we parked our car just in front of our room which was quiet convenient for us. Also they have ATM in their premises which is very useful in case you need cash. Room are nice and enough for small family. Hot water was available though there was some kind of smell in the bathroom. Location of hotel was nice it is just five minute walk from hotel which is very convenient in case you go there at night time or early in morning. overall good experience and value for money as they charge.Hotel

Neat and clean. Centrally located
Pros:

Booked it online. The staff are cordial. Some rooms have geyser and some do not have. Some have TV and some do not. Do not really know the reason, but definitely it's not the tariff. They are just installing the elevator. But staircase is conveniently designed. They don't provide blankets, towels and soap unless you ask for them.

The hotel is conveniently located from railway station, bus stand. More importantly, Temple is just 5 mins walk.

They have a vegetarian restaurant. The staff are very friendly.

Average Stay - Low Budget Hotel
Pros:

We had selected this hotel mainly due to the low price. The stay was average. Rooms were decent and clean. The blankets were torn and it looks like the hotel lack proper maintenance. We booked four double rooms and got them in 1st floor. The main drawback is that there is no lift and its difficult for aged people to reach the room. There is a veg restaurant which operates in ground floor and the food served was just fine. The hotel is very close to Guruvayoor temple (just 10 mints walkable distance). You can select this hotel if you are looking for a low budget stay with family.

Horrible stay..
Pros:

Booked an ordinary room (priced on the lower side), purely based on the reviews but the room provided was
--without blankets,
--full of mosquitoes and repellent was not available on request,
--leaking flush tank in toilets which was very dirty,
--wall full of stains,
--no hot water,
--faulty ceiling fan which was running very slow
--very low water pressure in taps
--bed spreads were not changed in my 3 days stay.
On complaining about this, the management told that the booked room is just an ordinary one, were as , I was expecting only basic amenities.

Stayed at the hotel paying 850 rupees for a non AC room . the room was not clean - full of stains on wall, bad quality bed, and not so clean toilet. It was difficult to lock the room due to almost broken lock. Overall, nog worth the money

Awesome Place for Budget Stay
Pros:

From October of 2015 till date I have frequented this Hotel. The Staff is not professional but courteous enough to forget the Professionalism. They where the key source for helping me arrange for my sisters wedding. During the wedding I had booked close to 15 Rooms here including Non-AC,AC, Rooms 4/8 bed. The rooms are good and the hotel provides an ample parking space. They dont have room service and lift. They do have a restaurant which functions for Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner. Highly Recommended place to stay with Peace of mind. And a special Shout out of Mohan Sir and Rakesh for providing a personal touch to make our stay and the marriage event successful

The worst hotel I ever stay in my life time
Pros:

Visited Guruvayur Temple with family on 27th December 2016. During my visit we stayed on Sree Krishna Residency. I have asked them for a 4 bed non Ac room. During my check in,what I get is a double room with an additional bed, and a reply sir hotel is full..
The room was terrible, I can't say it as a hotel, I never stayed in such a room before
1. Room lock was broken
2. Provided bed was broken, mattress is full of insects. If u want to sleep u just sleep on floor.
3. Room were not cleaned
4. Toilet was terrible
5. 2 plug point was there, but that don't work.
6. Fan regulator was not working, u just need to keep cotton on your ears to overcome the big sound from the fan.

The important thing is that they charge Rs 900 for this outdated room, in my point of view they are money looters. They had collected 2 days rent from me.

Friends if u visit guruvayur don't prefer this hotel, its a personal advice from a victim. They use many pictures to attract customers, but the fact is this hotel is such a big failure. Please prefer other good hotels in the nereby location with less rent.

Worst room and staff, yet have a decent restaurant
Pros:

Hi All,

I had booked this hotel from 15-Aug to 17-Aug-2016, and unfortunately, I did not book the deluxe room, but the standard Non-AC which costs Rs.475 per night stay. I was travelling with my wife and in-laws. We were offered room nos 114 and 115. Me and my wife opted #114.

1. The main door did not have the hook for the handle (it was broken) and had to rely on the tower bolt all the time.

2. Water from the bathroom shower feels like it is sprayed from a syringe, too low pressure to take a proper bath, and in case some other open the tap at the wash basin, the shower stops.

3. Mosquitoes rule the place, my wife was badly attacked.

4. Requested for hot water in the reception at 8 PM, the manager promised to provide the same at 2 AM next morning, later I went and confirmed at 11 PM, manager was not in place, the other staff said that there is no guarantee of hot water delivery. Morning again I went down and asked at 2 AM, they asked for our room bucket (since they said they do not have another spare bucket in the hotel) and delivered "said to be hot water" for two people in the same bucket ending up me bathing in cold water.

5. Standard rooms does not come with towels or blankets, carry your own if you need any. Hotel manager told me that "the more you pay, the more you get". So only deluxe rooms get these facilities.

I had a very bad experience and lost my dignity in front of my in-laws by making them to stay there too. I would never visit this hotel learning from my above experiences.

Above average
Pros:

I had visited this place on July 24th and had called and booked 2 double bedrooms...the charge for the rooms is from 2 to 2...but i had requested that i wil leave the same day and the Manager had accepted..so they charged me just Rs1300 (Rs 650 per room per day)..thr room and restroom facilities were adequate for the costs incurred..Tea and coffee were kind of ok...but dont use the Lunch facility there since you could have betterlunch outside..Very good hotel for people who wanting to just refresh, visit the temple and leave..you coild reach Guruvayoor within 5- 7 minutes from this stay...
