TM Hotel

My experience with the hotel was horrible. They said kingsize bed over phone.But it was only queen sized bed. We had to climb sime steps to reach the washroom. The staff service eas non cooperative. No connection with reception from our room. AC was switched on only at midnight. The charges were ₹3125. Not worth even for ₹2500. Avoid this hotel . Less staff. The only redeeming factor was lift. I have to run up and down if I requiredany service.
AVOUD THIS HOTEL if you ever travel to Madurai. I stayed from 8th January to 9th January

Please do not trust most of the good stuff proclaimed by Agoda, Makemytrip....so on so forth about MT Hotel Madurai. Hotel does not care about your deal with the online portal rather applies its own rules/regulation/higher fair. It does not have Car Parking and relies on a paid public parking with the condition that you have to pay everytime you take car out of the parking which may/ may not be reimbursed by the MT Hotel. Also you may notice cockroaches in Super Deluxe Category room.

The hotel room was a little dirty. The connection in the room was very poor. It was too expensive too. When I went to ask for the Wifi password, they just showed me a list which made no sense.

Please avoid this hotel. It is worse than a lodge. The rooms are too small, bathroom was not good, the flush was not working. Overall, it is better to avoid this hotel. The hotel people are just for money, and they don't care about the guest. In my room the tv was not working and i complained them 2 times, but there was no proper response from the staff. My experience with them was very bad and i will never book this hotel next time.

Horrible customer service, worst experience ever. The room smelled nearby hotel smoke. At the time of booking they have shown us ground floor new rooms but on that they have allotted fourth floor very worst rooms for our guest. The staff of the hotel was extremely rude and unhelpful.

This is lodge, not hotel. Booked deluxe room by seeing their website pics.But it was straight opposite in reality. Only front elevation and reception are attractive. Very old rooms with mosaic flooring. Dust too. Peeled paint. Stained rest rooms. Enquired front office about the room condition by showing website pics. Seems only upto 3rd floor they have renovated and our bad luck, we got room in 5th floor. Since they have collected full payment while checkin, left with no option. Average service. Worth for only half of the amount, we paid. Be cautious while booking and ensure the type of room you will be getting new/old.

1. Walkable distance from periyar busstand, junction and Temple
2. Lot of hotels nearby

There are both pros and cons
Lodge set up.
Parking is free.
Way to the hotel is a one-way road ,very small. Lots of bike parked on the road making it even more difficult to move.
We were send on wrong route by the traffic police which caused lot of traffic jam. So please enter the road through right way.

5mins walk to Meenakshi temple.
Rooms are big, rooms and washroom are clean.

Only one water bottle is free even for a family.
Breakfast buffet is free and from a hotel opposite to this lodge.

Located at Comparative cleaner side of temple.

The staff were accommodating to our requests.
The hotel is in good location for the bus and train station and a short walk to the main temple.

Set in a busy city centre area, hence expected bustle of city life.

The room had a large bed and comfortable mattress.

Aircon was effective.

I would have felt more safe with a different lock however when in room, there was a bolt.

Sadly the room was very dated and needed a refurbishment. Bathroom clean but in need or refurb. I would have expected hot water of hotel of this standard.

We did not eat here.

Ideal location set close to train station and temple.
Staff helpful, one spoke good English.
Hotel is in dire need of re-furbishment. Comfy mattress, decent aircon, WiFi adequate.
Decor not great, old fashioned. Toilet and shower desperately needs refurb. Was clean but old stains remain that can’t be removed from cleaning.

I stayed in this hotel on Sunday 29th May. I had booked a deluxe double room. This is not a hotel. It's a lodge. The room was not clean. Bad odour in the room. No ventilation. Room was suffocating. The bathroom was not clean. All the fittings in the bathroom are rusted. Bed was hard. I stayed there for only an hour and checked out. I shifted to Fortune Pandyan hotel which is very good. A bit expensive but very clean . Their only drawback is food and room service. Food is not good and room service is very slow.

Situated in madurai town,10 to 15minutes from highway..We checked in by 11.00pm and checked out next day 7.00am..room was spacious,clean and neat bathroom.We stayed with kid and was comfortable..since we didnt had breakfast or visited any place,not sure about other details..staff was good..recommended one

Recently renovated hotel, friendly staffs. Breakfast is good and authentic. Owner guided me near by attractions and helped me with cab arrangments. Rooms are neat and clean. I will refer my friends and family to experience this hotel in future.

Rooms are very spacious and cleanly maintained. Customer service is excellent. The Hotel is at close proximity to Meenakshi temple and railway station. All of this at a cheap price. Would definitely recommend for people visiting Madurai.

Fantastic and economical this hotel, it is a main hot of the city in madurai and walkable distance in sri meenatchi temple and madurai railway station, the service is very good and the hotel stafs are polite

As I visit Madurai every year ,this hotel is my all time favorite. Last time when I was here, the hotel was under renovation and this time I loved the new face of it.The hotel looks really fresh and bright.Hospitality and the attention we get is a plus. Very friendly and helpful staff and owners.

Visited the hotel for a family trip to Madurai. I am satisfied with the service they provided with such affordable price. The rooms are maintained very clean and it was pretty convenient. Whenever there is a need for stay in Madurai, I will recommend this to all.

Loved the stay at this super comfortable place in Madurai which is so nearby to railway station. Good service and amenities. Also very close to the famous Meenakshi Amman temple. I highly recommend this place to you guys visiting Madurai.
