Don’t stay here unless you want to hate Colorado

This is a tough one. Let’s go with we had a place to sleep.

Cons:

Fire alarm in the night (not hotel’s fault, of course). Had to pay for parking in the midst of a goat rodeo complex of other hotels. No one at the front desk told us we’d need to pay. A sign in the parking lot with a QR code made it clear. Also, the parking is run by a third party, so be ready to give all your information up to some random app. Poor pet facilities, including active ant hills everywhere your pet is expected to relive itself. Loud neighborhood and traffic coming and going / cutting through the parking lots most of the night. Someone kept leaving a rock to prop open the back door by our room, so someone else could come and go freely. Not cool.

The whole cluster was our mistake. One we won’t make again.

Overall the stay itself was nice.

Location was great, property was clean, breakfast was good.

Cons:

I had two rooms booked in error and was charged for one as a no show. I was unaware of the 2nd reservation and the clerk at check-in did not mention the 2nd room. You would think she would asked if I was checking in for both rooms under my name so I could have cleared up mistake and cancelled it. She never mentioned the 2nd room and I was charged for a no show. The hotel would not refund because it was booked through a 3rd party. Not willing to help.
