Riverside Hotel

It’s very basic and quite run down but it’s kind of what I expected

Overall was ok. But the bed was uncomfortable and bath soap was not provided. TV was too far from the bed. Noise from motorcycle.

A very basic budget hotel. We knew what to expect so was not surprised when we checked in to our room. The room was stark and very outdated. Plus point - we did get WiFi in the room after a few attempts to log in.
You get what you pay for, okay for a 1 night stay whilst waiting for the ferry to Tioman Island.

It's convenient to get food (24 hrs Restaurant), 7Eleven, and Self Laundry (24hrs). There's watson just walking distance along the shop lots. 5min walking distance to Mersing Jetty and 10min walking distance to Mersing Bus Terminal.

Nice that they stored my bike.

RIVER SIDE

It was not too bad. Had all tht uou need. Literally just the basics.

No views, dirty bed sheet, broken tv, air con without remote control, looks like refugee shelter... Shudn have the rating that more than a star

The hotel is not clean. There are roaches in nearly every room. We had to get three rooms changed so that the room cleanliness is acceptable and even then came back from.dinner to find a cockroach crawling in the bed! Better to pay more for a better hotel if you value hygiene.

A pleasant stay before the early boat to Tioman. In the middle between jetty and bus terminal makes it a convenient location

Walking distance to bus terminal ,restaurants and shop nearby .

Room condition was so bad. Sink was leaking, no safety lock for door inside the room, bath towels were so cheap quality where did'nt absorb water at all..and they did not make up the room too after we requested on the second day..the reason is we did not leave our room's key..and this is really not acceptable since every room have the second key.

We arrive a Monday to take the early morning ferry to Tioman, so we just wanted to have diner and sleep.
The room has no window, just 3 beds and bathroom All-in-One style: shower-toilet-sink. Good Wifi, water & ice in the coridor. few euros for that, you can't claim.Only cash payment.
500m to the jetty for the ferry.

Noisy laneway next to hotel. Room needed a good airing. Pillows smelt but covers were clean. Transit stay only.
